I was installed this rom by tominglis instruction above and its works. But there is no keyboard on the rom. Lucky, i was backup framaroot and android keyboard by super backup apk on my external memory.
This rom works smoothly and very responsive than before. Also much option added on each menu.
    Thanks for needrom and tominglis

    Hello,

I recently set up my phone from scratch, and everything works now except for an annoying bug with Google services:

    1) Install the Low Level MTK drivers and the PdaNet ADB drivers

    2) Flash the official Lenovo ROM (S118) with the SP Flash Tool

    3) Get root with the MTK Root tool

    4) Install the Mobile Uncle app

    5) Use the Mobile Uncle app to install the official MIUI Recovery

    6) Use the MIUI Recovery to wipe the data / cache and install the latest MIUI ROM for the device. NB – I edited the build.prop file to swap the USB and SD card storage, and to include en – GB as the default language / region.

    7) Install Google applications individually via the app in the MIUI market place. (I previously tried flashing various different Google apps packages, but installing them through this app seems to work well).

I still have the problem with Google Services causing the Play Store and other apps to force close. You can just use the website version of the Play Store to install things, or add them to the wishlist and then install them with the app, however it does affect lots of other apps too, which can't be worked around.
