ROM Install :
Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
Press F9 (or hit Download button) and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
And green circles display
Finish !
You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Hello, I looking for newest kernell (118?). Is this ROM rooted, or not?
This rom is not rooter but rooting it is easy, see instructions from @lenovoa830 on first page.
@saganot I've hit the same problem as you. The only rom that unbricked the phone was A830_S115_130426 with F9 (Download). Nothing else did. After installing this rom, I updated over the air to A830_S118_130621 and rooted the phone. I'm still to figure out how to get Google Framework Services installed and running. Do I really have to install CWM in order to do so?
I received a notification of a new update. S119.
I would like to know which brings improvements? and how to update since I have the root?

there is no emmc _txt file in rom . how can i install it with sp tool flash.

i'am facing a problem with a Lenovo a830 . after re flashing with stock firmware and many custom rom's it says (( Invalid imei ) but the name of the network behind the invalid imei eg : (( invaild IMEI : Vodafone )….. i tried the My uncle mobile method to edit the imei Number And its worked But with two Problems :
1- The network Signal after some hours of working gives no signal and u need to restart the device to get network again >….?????
2- The Imei which u wrote on the My uncle Mobile application is erased if u make a rest or wipe data for the device …and u should re enter it again ????
Any Help to make that IMEI is fixed on the device as usual >>>>>>??????? pls help
