ROM for Lenovo S939 – Android 4.4.2

Official Lenovo S939 VIBEUI_V1.5_1417_2_DEV_S939_NK_W_B215

PLUS :

This rom is rooted

Removed all unusable app

This ROM have original Lenovo recovery, but if you want I attached a CWM recovery for S939

V2 :

- Fixed front camera problem

- Fixed many Languages

V3 : (base : S939_S915_VIBEUI_V1.5_1427)

- the lenovo weather widget work with all city in the word

- Possible to remove some system applications. Just take your fingers on app, and click on the red ix, but the next factory reset the removed apps, again appear!

- Fixed many languages

V3 install :

- install CWM to phone

- copy the S939_S915_VIBEUI_V1.5_1427_baralajbi.zip to SD card

- Boot into run CWM

- install zip from SD with CWM

- If you want to root, then install SuperSu zip

V4: base is VIBEUI_V2.0_1501_7.5.1_DEV_S939_WC19

- VibeUI2.0 with many new features

Install ROM :

- Download FlashTools MediaTek SP Flash Tool V5.1348.0.100, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Options->Options>,Download>select DA DL All with Checksum
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press Download"
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.

- install the vcom driver if you don't do this before
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after, yellow, grey and green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

hi mr baralajbi,i have a problum…every time i install 4.42 rom but the imei will become invalid..i restore my imei by mobile uncle tools still cant restore back my imei…any solution for me?

  You found my P780 4.4.2 rom the imei_mtk65xx file. Download that and use for repair imei!

im already update my s939 to kitkat 4.4.2 . i try to root it..but cant… anyone know why.. n how to root it?? ty

Mr baralajbi…have you try in move and replace in the imei folder? I try it before use root explore but I can't…4.2.2 no problem but 4.4.2 can't copy and replace the imei files… so…how?

Dear friends, please help me. When I'm trying to install this firmware using the MT_6592_SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1348.00 tool I am getting the ERROR:
BROM ERROR: S_COM_PORT_OPEN_FAIL (1013)
FAILED TO OPEN COM PORT
Anyone knows how to fix this issue?
I'm acting step by step according the manual listed in the firmware description. Thank you!

Mr baralajbi …is same here….even use (AndroidLanguageProject) also same,replace the imei files also cant get back my emei…

wta:do i need to download FlashTools MediaTek SP Flash Tool V5.1348.0.100 on phone or computer.
I already download on computer, but it pop up this " The scatter file cannot found, please make sure the file is exist before download." when i click on Flash_tool.exe

I already plug in my phone after click on download in flashtool.but the percentage doesnt move even for one 1 percent.how to solve this

for those who are asking about connection problems.
1,Driver issues : http://forum.xda-developers.co.....d.php?t=2180436
2,Check the data cable connection & it's recommended to use original cable to avoid disconnection while rom flashing and stabilized voltage supply without battery. Or else you may try other usb port.
3,Close all android software in windows taskbar eg.baidu shoujizhushu, kies, htc, lenovo suite & etc because the port might be used by one of them.
