ROM Mobile Newman K1S – ROM Android 4.4.2
ONLY MT6592
Official ROM Newman K1S Version: ALPS.KK1.MP1.V2.10 – eastaeon92_wet_kk – KOT49H – 11032014
Gapps not include – No Rooted
Language support : Multilang
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
Good to see fellow K1S owners at least trying to make the phone better, but where has Socr@te gone,?…Surely if you supply a viable ROM to Needrom, you would keep in touch with the forum to see what problems might arise?….Ok Socr@te,,please come out of the shadows…
I think Socr@te is an admin, I doubt he's responsible for this ROM…
Doesn't anyone speak chinese…? We could ask on the official Newman forum for a working 4.4 ROM for K1s, or just a fix for this one… or even seach Baidu for something :/
Is anyone willing to install this ROM and try the MobileUncle Tools made available on this thread to see if it solves anything? Maybe increase volume, or activate something?

Has anyone installed the 4.4.2 with correct sound? I need it for 'yesterday'
Still no updates, still no sound.

To whoever might be interested: I managed to "correctly" port CM11, android 4.4.4, WITH SOUND, to this device. "Correctly" because it works, but it's full of bugs. The big victory is having sound on it xD
I won't publish the CM11 ROM not only because it's still bugged, but also because the author doesn't grant permission. Furthermore, I'm not a developer, and what I did was a matter of luck. I can't offer support or anything :/

Now that we know this is possible, maybe Lollipop is closer to Newman K1S
Hello, esoty with a doubt I have the k1s model and now I realize that inside puts k1w and I get a doubt.
I have installed the roms 7gb + 76gb + SuPeR AOSP and it works, but it leaves a side spot in the white color.
I can put the roms k1w since the ram is different.
