     official 6.0 rom is kernel 3.18.xx …..it will neve work. you have to reflash official lollipop, flash twrp for lollipop, then install this

     CM always has root…..just go to developer settings and enable it. you have to flash the gapps

     i'll make sure to make the instructions clearer next time….kernel 3.10.xx …meant you had to be on lollipop….marshmallow for mtk mostly uses 3.18.xx and there sure will be bootloops if you flash this over marshmallow

   1. Wipe System, Cache, Davlik Cache, Internal storage
   2. Install "Cubot Note S RR-5.9.9.zip" on official 5.1 Lollipop,
   3. then newest open gaaps (open_gapps-arm-5.1-pico-20160806.zip),
   4. UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550.zip
   5. and xposed-v86-sdk22-arm
   6. wipe Davlik Cache and Cache
   7. reboot phone

   Phone booted successfully D
   Gaaps (Google Play) is working
   Sound is working
   Calls is working
   WiFi is working
   Camera and video recording is working in Camu app
   GPS is working
   Xposed is working
   Youtube 720p is not working for me not even 480p

   This ROM is fastest and smoothest Cubot Note S custom ROM till now,
   so thanks all developers for this ROM

     Why did you use an old version of SuperSU? The latest version is 2.76

     I didn't know that new version of SupeSU is out. But it doesn't matter to me.
     RR is excelent except Youtube 720p and 480p is not working for me, everithing else is working fine

   Flashed the official lollipop rom then this.

   I agree this is the best cubot rom out here coz i have used all of 'em.

   But this one ressurected my cubot note s…

   Evrything working more than fine!!!
