How to flash TWRP on your Cubot Note S
1. be sure you are on offical Cubot Note S V06
2. turn your device off and don't plug usb cable on your device
3. download my twrp zip-file and also the SPFlash Tools on your PC
4. Extract the twrp-zip file and also the SPFlash Tool in C:\TWRP\
5. Start the SPFlash Tool and choose for "Scatter-loading file" the txt-file in extracted twrp-folder
6. now press top on "download"
7. connect your USB Cable from Cubot Note S to your PC
8. the programm will start automatically and flash the TWRP on your recovery partition
9. when it's done (green tick), unplug the usb cable and start the device once with VOL+ and Power at the same time. Choose in the boot menu "recovery"
It's important to do this step at the first boot, otherwise the Cubot Recovery will rewrite the parition and you need to do the steps again.
If you are once in twrp successfully, it will remain on your device.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
why does it tell me the archive is corrupt when i try to extract the twrp
I do not know if someone has already written, but if you have already installed an older version of TWRP, you only need to unzip the TWRP.zip File and install the image "recovery.img" in TWRP (as recovery). Very easy.

Hi. I tried to flash TWRp as mentioned above with Flashtool. But when I connect the phone nothing happens. I also tried it with holding Volup and Power and then coneting to USB. Then a red bar appears in Flashtool. After a few seconds I get this errormessage:
ERRO: S-DL-GET-DRAM-SETTING-FAIL (5054)
[EMI] Obtain DRAM Failed!
[HINT]:
Please check your load matches to your target which is to be downloaded.
In the description you write this TWRP is for official Cubot Note S V06. Where can I find the Version-No.?

Be careful.. you will lose all you data. So keep a backup of your files before you flash.
TWRP should work as usual if you are on latest official firmware.. otherwise the TWRP (and lineage) will not work
My ROM has the version V7. I flashed the V6 from your Link and now TWRP is installed. Thanks for help!

Edit: Now here is the next problem: I want to flash your Lineage-ROM 14.1
The installation fails with errormessage:
Can't install this package on top of incompatible data. Please try another package or run a factory reset.
Prozess Updater endete mit Fehler: 7
Ok, I get it. I've downloaded the ROM again, flahed one more time the official version 6 and then the install runs through.
