   Hi,

   I need your help with some info.

   I have a phone that looks identical with this (listed by seller as 5.5 inch but measured as 5.3 inch)

   Sensor and fromt camera are identical located. 

   However is / was listed before reflash as  

   e1901_v77_jdt1_9p017_fwvga 

   Android 4.1.1 Kernel 3.4.0 

   MK6577 dual core

   I can use Start 7180 and a few other images (jbla688 driver) but I loose Back / Home led touch buttons, lost also proxy light sensor. Screen driver that works is LQ053HNYP32B. Interesting is that Home, Back buttons are still working at the very bottom of the LCD visible screen same width from the side edge, so it appear that vertical scanning does not go below that point.

   However one day during reflash yellow line stopped at 97%

   I am knowlegable about a lot of electronics and hardware, not so good with android as I just start

   learning about it. My question is:

   Can you please check and let me know (if you have access) what must be the correct driver?

   I tried to copy the lk.bin filr from this image in the MK6577 Note 2 but it did not work.

   One statement upstairs was left unfinished

   This is my device Official ROM N7189 Version: v89_jdt1fwvga_20130521. Trying to update the recovery I have damaged the system, and when I have installed the ROM of this page now it does not start the phone – white screen with vertical stripes – What I can do? I it have reinstalled several times. I need another official rom. This one does not work in my device. I must install it from Flash Tool. Where to obtain it? Thank you.

     HOla, estube puyando el firmeware de mi star n7189 y lo he cagado, lo prendo y no pasa del logo que hago

   I used Motochopper and got Superuser on the fly

   Phone is rooted, image is a bit smoother than the original, I lost 500 points (now 13400) at

   Antutu benchmark but probably the resources are used for the screen.

   However the image looks by the icons more like a 4.0.4 than a 4.2.3.

   Is identical in look like the original one. The only interesting feature is the wireless

   monitor, but I do not know how to use it.

   how can I tell which "MS board" version I have ?

   phone settings gives me software version strings. I want correct ID of my hardware to not brick the phone.

     Be careful first version and the update are totally diferent (for my phone)

     First do not even let me start it.

   I believe we need proper documentation on these ROMs so others will not flash brick their fones. theminimum is to document the build prop.
