Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
Very interesting!! With this ROM i have WCDMA 1900 working!!! I say it is interesting because I read that only modem MOLY.WR8.W1…V7 was working.
Obviously it is a software problem. I think that if we can extract the module we can make any MT6589 work in WCDMA 1900.
I always thought that 3G for USA and Canada is only software related and you just prove it.
My phone was 3G from the time I purchased

hi, installing firmware screen is white with vertical lines, i can hear it working but cant see anything, any idea?? the normal version, with the update version my phone does not work at all, please any help? i remember to check my version it was from september 2013
