I'm posting this comment here as this is teh most viewed rom in this section but i know many people are in the same boat as me when it comes to teh 3g connectivity and i dont understand fluent chinese but i understand some..

This basicaly talks about teh 3g paremeters been incorrect and that you can change them to fix the 3g, if someone who understands fluent chinese could translate it fully for us english people it would be a great help as i can see a download link but darent touch ti for just incase.

Hello,
I have bought a week a go the newer S7599 Model. It is the same aka S7589 – only instead 8 = 16GB ROM.
O.K. I rootet the device and flash CWM-Recovery 5.5.0.4 on it. Then i make same Test´s.
So – I tried to Restore a backup from 1 day before.
The Restore without any problem. (I make wipes data factory reset and dalvik cache)
After reboot all Apps are restored – but no 3G/ Baseband are on the Phone. WiFi and Bluetooth have function, but no 3G/ Baseband!
I think, you have connections to kingelon for a Firmware-Flash for the S7599. Or you have answers, how I can do to receive it back. About the Phone: Build Number (S7599)

You know, I´m here in Germany, you are in maybe Shenzen. You have developed – I read your post – a very nice Rom. But I think, I don´t can use it on my 16GB Phone!
Important: Can I use your CMW-Recovery.img 6.0.3 on S7599 to. I think it ist better like my 5.5.0.4!!
Please help me. Thanks a lot of your cooperation!

BTW: the Folder /system/etc/firmware with the modem.img is present on my Phone. I think, the init on boot doesn´t work. If you have a Firmware_Flash for me, you can uploaded by 4shared.com. They have the Limit on each File by 2GB!! It´s free!
