ROM Version Official THL W300: ThL_W300.JB2.FHD.EN.COM.16P256_MT6589T_V10_130905
Gapps include – No Rooted
Language support: Multilang
Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

My thl w300 phone inform me about "Wireless update" after power up. New version "Thl_W300.JB2.FHD.EN.COM.16P256_MT6589T_V10_130905" Release date: 2013-09-07
New firmware was downloaded. Only 4.85MB (zip file with binary differential). But upgrade fails. I looked for full firmware. And now found this.
1. Where you get this ROM?
2. Please, Can you wrote how backup current ROM? (before I try ROM from this site, i want backup current phone ROM.)
Mine does that too – in fact I guess all do, because there was mention of it on the Russian Chinese Phone Forum.
I've asked about this with my supplier and I'm waiting for a response from them. I'm tempted to believe that this ROM is a simple upgrade of the one the phone was shipped with.

Any cwm for this phone?
I made CWM for this phone. I used MtkDroidTools. This CWM image can be flashed by the same FlashTools as this ROM. But I don't known where publish CWM image.

Installed ROM yesterday – instructions are good, but getting drivers into Win8 took some doing – need the right ones and they are unsigned.
New ROM stopped the OTA nag for the 4.85MB patch, and phone seems more responsive. It wipes the phone to factory-fresh, so backup first.
Please Upload Custom ROM and CWM for this pretty gadget…
the flashtool is not detecting my phone. is just getting stuck on searching.
Please could someone advice where you got the right flashtool. or what i should do.
I can not then updated my thlw300. I follow the recommended steps and flash tool stays at 0%, it does nothing more. How long does it take? What else can I do?
