   Is this for version 1.0 or ver 1.1 hardware???

   open /system/build.prop ,, 

   [ro.product.hardware]: [V1.1.0]

   [ro.product.name]: [hy602plus_UUI]

   ver 1.0 has volume and pwr buttonson same side,, right side

   ver 1.1, a different mb,, has buttons on opposite sides

   THIS REALLY MATTERS

   How to open a "pac" to get recovery img out anf modify it ??

   How?  I would really like to do this,,

   but everything seems do be 660 so I get permision refused

   (adb pull …  OR cat /dev/block/… > /sdcared/….)

   The stock recovery does not seem to have a backup function

   Replying to myself  ….!!!!

   As I suspected this is for a version 1.0 board,,,,,,

   I don't know how different they are,,, ver 1.0 vrs ver 1.1

   You can grab img from a run of the flasher, before you close it

   It will run under wine, don't know if it will flash

   From the recovery img 

   ro.board.platform=scx15

   ro.product.hardware=SP7715EA_V1.0.0

   I could not open system.img

   My phone is 1.1, released 31-3-2015

   Still don't know how to make a backup, don't have root, can't get

   I will NOT be flashing this rom, may use the recovery to make a CWM

   BTW I have been using linux for 20 yrs, android is a giant pain in the rear

   like a bastard child of win and linux, with most of the worst feture of each

   BTW,, I didn't find the win drivers here adequate,, 4 yellow exclaimation marks

   For me, the ones that worked mention 9 cpus in the file name, a repackeged rar (with password),

   these drivers are  from spreadtrum..  Google SC7701 and spreadtrum, it will likely be on  that 1st page

   For the flash utility to work the drivers MUST be correct
