DESCRIPTION
This is a custom TWRP recovery for Lenovo A820. I guess it might work fine for A830 too, but I don't have the device to verify. It is suitable for KitKat roms.
TWRP has touch support, extended backup/restore functions, theming and many more.
I've currently ported 3 themes with material design – Dark, Light and Play.

Installation
Here are some variants for flashing the custom recovery
- If you already have the older TWRP 2.8.4.0 version installed (v1), you can tap on Install button, swtich to Images (from the button in the bottom right corner) find your downloaded twpr img file, then select Recovery as destination partition and swipe to flash.
- By Rashr – Flash Tool from PlayStore. Just select Recovery from storage and find the downloaded img file.
- By FlashTool for PC
Themes
Place desired theme in /sdcard/TWRP/theme (create that folder if you don't have it) and rename the zip file to ui.zip. Then restart to recovery to see the effect.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
great, a820 now is going for kitkat,
Meaning what? This is recovery for A820.
This helps in some obtain kitkat day for this model?
There are several KK roms available already. Still not good enough in my eyes, but stable for everyday use.

Why I have no permission to download a theme? (Material dark)
I have disabled it. You should only use the three v2 themes.
dark_material_540x960_mod.zip was the initial theme, which is now obsolete. Use v2 instead.

Hi, is backup working? I moved from cwm and trying to backup my lambda 2.4.1. Checking all boxes in backup but getting error “can’t mount internal storage and emmc”. Phone is meteos treated and disabled internal memory…
Now I see there is a problem right after recovery start – list of errors in console "E: Unable to mount '/emmc'". Also theme is not applied. Racovery doesnt remembe'r settings as time zone, screen brightness etc.
For disabled emmc I believe you would need a modified recovery to support this.
And TWRP saves its settings on emmc, but since you have it disabled, it seems to not recognize it.
What if you change the destination of backup to external sd card?

I have a problem, that TWRP cant see my SD, which is working perfectly, and TWRP itself was flashed from that SD. When I want to find a .zip to flash, it shows [0mb] External memory and dont let me choose SD. Why's that?
Any manipulations done to partitions? What was your previous recovery?
I want to compile TWRP from source, because the port is not optimal, but have so many other things to do, so this is with lower priority.
