- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

question!!! anyone whose flashed the 040114 rom lose their data connection??? My wifi is fine but I cannot connect to 3G.. it shows H & H+ but no throughput.. when I run the tests in mobileuncle Im getting:

Ping Ip Addr: Fail: IP addr not reachable

Ping Hostname(http://www.google.com): Fail: Host unreachable

HTTP Client test: Fail: IOException

hoping this 0423 update fixes it..

Seems the devices have same chipsets

gpu mali 450

display 1900 x 1200

ram 2 gb

ROM is good, but device partitions internal 16GB as ~5/8GB partitions. The 8GB partition is considered sdcard1, which programs use to store data. This is not typically a problem unless you insert another memory card into the external expansion slot, then the external card becomes sdcard0 and the tablet uses this card to store all the program data. Not good if the external card is not permanent.

Had to edit \system\etc\vold.fstab to change the order of sdcard loading so that the internal 8GB partition was recognized first, which required rooting the device twice. Only want the external sdcard used for data, like eBooks, music, video, etc., -NOT- internal Android application cache and data storage.

Recently, installing new programs causes (internal) 8GB partition to automatically dismount, so I may need to tweak the vold.fstab. Will restore ROM to factory default, then try again.
