Install ROM:
Install with SP MDT:
1). Turn off the smartphone. Cable is not connected to the computer.
2). Remove the battery and insert it again (if the battery is removable)
3). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The operating system detects a new device
4). Disconnect the cable from the computer.
5). Run SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe
6). Choose File> Open File Agent download and specify the file MTK_AllInOneDA.bin (it is in the folder SP_MDT).
7). Click Scatter File and select the MT6580_Android_scatter.txt file (it's in the folder with the rom).
8). Click "Start all".
9). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The program should see and blink. If the phone is not detected, then unplug it from the computer,
remove and insert the battery (if the battery is removable) and reconnect it to the computer.
10). After (OK) click Stop and disable any phone.
11). Completed.

try this one 360 root or kingoroot or guenius root …One of those may help yOu
I have this phone.
But I cant change imei number with engineering mode,apk and others.
I cant root too.
I writing from Turkey and must imei chnage for use this phone.

Try flashing this recovery with SP Flashtool https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....d/twrp-3-0-0-7/
Download the ROM, load the scatter file and uncheck everything, then just load the recovery.img file from the link and flash it, once it's done, reboot with power button and volume UP, then select recovery and flash superSU 2.78 flashable ZIP
It worked for me, now I'm able to get root access and unistall system apps, you should be able to change your IMEI from engineer mode.

When trying to load this into a X5Max it does not boot. I tried to play with the scatter files and mix parts of stock rom for X5Max with parts of your ROM but so far I wasn’t able to make it work.
Have you by chance a prerooted (also with TWRP would be perfect) verdion for X5Max

I'm getting this error message:
FAIL
(1)COM ports number repetitive or invalid
(2) Brom and preloader have the same comport number!
Please modify them in INI file or scan again
I tried running the Scan option and nothing happens. Any help?

So, this cverison fix the youtube video color error.
But first I flashed it with firmware upgrade option and the phone has got bootlooop. I had to flash it again with Download Only option to work.
Is this an official update for x5 max?
Will the datas (pictures, settings, mails) delete with this update?

Does this need to have rooted phone? I have no experience on this and i'm scared to brick it or something. Do you have to turn on the phone to conect it with usb cable? Any detail to take into account? Sorry for bothering.
I have buyed this phone and have a bigg issue with it.
The person at the other end of a phone call hears a buzzing sound/interference while I hear them perfect.
I checked all settings but nothing.

Can you please make a rom without beautysnap? This app come with doogee rom and is virus.
I was just looking for some alternative rom without beautysnap, but for your comment I see this one includes it.
An alternative is to try to root, to erase the apk, but I cannot find how to root it. Tried Kingo root, kingroot… no success.
