Rom for Lenovo S960
- base : Vibe UI 2.0 for S960
- Removed all unusable app
- Added about 70 languages
- The Weather app work as wordwide
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select the MT6589_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- choose DA DL All With Check Sum
- Turn off your phone
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow, if no, then have to install the driver
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

file size of 1.8GB and u deleted unused apps?
hmmm… one apk about 10kb – few Mb. I deleted about 10-20 pcs apk, so this size all – 30 Mb, not a Gb.
Only the android size is 1.5 Gb, the data partition size is 1GB…. No comment….

The rom is rooted. You can download the chinese instruction, with many pictures, or use the Google with this key : "SP Flash Tool How To Use" and choose the first 4 results. All good for this phone.
Can't flashing missing a file?
have to use that flash tool what I included!!!
(The flash tool is with a virus, as my panda says. Doesn't matter, I switched it off.)
But after setting the things, it won't start. Maybe the built in battery is the problem? As I connect the phone it starts charging. Can you help in this issue? Thx!

Now, I made the firmware update (not download, it won't let it). Everything worked fine, but suddenly it stops working, and now the phone won't start. Great
have to make a factory reset in recovery mode!
