CAIVS (or CAVIS) and PRICING.DAREDEVIL are malware and they arre built into the ROM. You can safely remove them both if you are rooted or if you edit the ROM before flashing it. It will work safely after that. These nasty pieces of bloatware are common on China phones. ZOPO generally don't use them but they are in the ZP700 as well, I believe.
CAIVS in particular can act as a backdoor for MUCH nastier Trojans which are downloaded via mobile data. My phone was fine until we left mobile data on for a long time (using Google navigation) and it became infected with a whole variety of trojans and viruses. BEWARE these will rewrite your ROM so that they will continue to infect your phone even after a reset.
The only solution is to return the phone to Zopo or to reflash (use Flashtool) it yourself. The ROM IS good after you remove CAIVS and Daredevil – but don;t use it for sensitive data otherwise! You can root it with Kingroot, but be aware that Kingroot itself is classified as riskware, although I have found it to be excellent myself.
Make sure that you use CM and Kaspersky security. Stubborn Trojan Killer MAY help if you get infected. Took me a week full time to get to the bottom of this (and I have been in the biz since it began).

Really? Malware? I've googled malware and cavic and nothing appears. You'd think someone would be listing it. What A/V program did you use?
I've found it too, it brings an adware called 'Recents' when connects to the net. Although I downloaded my firmware from the official Zopo site. Funny..
I used mtk droid tools 2.5.3 to get root. I used the application to generate a patched boot.img and cwm recovery.img. I only used the recovery as it didn't boot with the flashed boot.img. I used the latest SP flash tool to flash the new zopo firmware but I replaced the included recovery with the new one created by mtk droid tool. I then booted into recovery after flashing by holding the volume up button and power button with the usb cable in. I flashed supersu 2.02 through recovery and did not fix permissions on reboot (I don't think this would matter). I now have root!
but i still can't change IMEI number :/ command is not allowed for user build

if you want to change your IMEI .. You Must have root access and Download Chamelphon From play store and generate an IMEI and then reboot your device .. It Work's 100%

I believe that one of the early Jelly Bean stock ROMs is rooted but I don'r know which one. Cyanogenmod should be rooted. K
