Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6582_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

This does not work either …. I've tried !! The phone again and locked after reset with the 4.2 rom V004.

I don't know why they are uploading these ROMs , if all members saying its blocking their phones , if its not working why you just making update !! all of them seems to be unusuful for our S308 ! Thank you anyway for saving our phone with 4.2 V004
please help me, my cubot s305 is not detecting with the flash tools, its always 0 %

Guys i found solution for you how to unbrick your s308
, sad i brick my device too and spend 5 hours to unbrick it 
but finaly working so here are the steps how to do it.
DO THE SAME WHAT I WROTE HERE NOT SKIP ANY PART !!!!!!!!!!
First download the STOCK ROM V03 : from here LINK

Ah sorry i forget the drivers for usb : DOWNLOD
Take Out your battery from S308 , after hold both volume buttons and place back the battery
Open control panel via windows start menu and then open device manager.
You will see new device , unpack the drivers , and you need manually select to install.
