Gapps include – No Rooted
Language support: Multilang
Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

I noticed from the beginning, the diference of file to download:
the original ROMS are 300-320 MB
this one is more than 400 MB ..
so if you come here without even flash your mobile, do not do it!
i am android user since 3 years now. i can tell you that, rom size is not so important. i think this kitkat rom is almost perfect , the color difference on display, better usage of kitkat, just one thing : the rear camera unfortunately. i think this build is made for latest factory products for cubot x6. i bought my x6 in june, so it doesnt work on mine..
Yes, Had no any problems with the rooting etc, Just the back camera does not work.
I wonder what would happen if I will replace the camera related libraries from system/lib.
Can u reply if u repair the camera and how you do this?
If it helps I contacted Cubot about latest official? October firmware compatability and apparently my 4.2.2 (v1.1) phone is different to new kitkat version as they say"
Please, remove the "official" badge from this terrible thread. Or even better. Delete this ROM at all.
Hi to all,
Sent email to Cubot Customer Service asking about this rom, and today i received this response:
"Thank you so much for your nice greetings and affection to X6. But I need to say sorry to you, because I need to be sincere with you.
Well, the circuitboard of 4.2 and 4.4 are different, so updating can not be put through. Sorry for the inconvenience."
So if you have a "new" circuitboard, this rom will work fine, if you don´t…..

I already received cubot X6 with 4.2.2 , but it was ordered 10/28/2014 at banggood UK warehouse. So no long ago.
I am now running on G807_D_H_CUBOT_V0.2_20140924 CWM backup from celka at xda. And everything working. I had to backup nvram by mtkdroidtools before loading his backup, cause after loading i lost IMEIs and wifi/BT MAC adresses.
So i am maybe lucky, that i have newer circuit board.But still dont think , that is impossible to run 4.4.2 at older X6s, of course it will needs some tweaks of some developers. Maybe camera libs from working 4.2.2 will be enough (and nvram backup, cause new ROM is differently formatted).
I wonder if there is anyway to find out which build is which via SETTINGS-ABOUT PHONE as I got mine a couple of months ago with v1.1.It would be handy to know(without flashing) if I have last of old or first of new?
I have been using this firmware for 2 weeks. Only 2 disadvantages: 1) No rear camera 2) no ART. Wait for update.
Cubot gave me link to their new update today.I do not know if it is same as this one but here is their kitkat

So I had v1.1 flashed 4.4.2 fine so i am guessing any x6 with v1.1 has newer circuit board
