Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Hi All, verry much the new boy to this forum, wondering if anyone can help re the following please?
I've pretty much followed all the instructions posted here (and elsewhere) however, when I click on the download butoon in the flash tool, and then attach my X6, absolutely nothing happens afterwards..have tried on two separate laptops so have to assume I'm either missing something very obvious, or, my X6 is not set up as it needs to be…if anyone can advise, I'd be very grateful indeed….thanks in advance!!!

I guess I should consider myself very lucky, I've an X6 from April which I would have to believe it to be an older version – I installed using flashtool as an Upgrade to the Firmware… Flashtool formatted the X6 and then installed the program. Everything but the rear camera works, and works quite well! I did not have any issues at all, and this so far is the most stable version I have had on my X6 so far! Keeping a watch on this forum to see if anyone comes up with a fix for the camera…
Apparently there still are several people unable to program their IMEI back in, here's how!
I use MobileUncle Tools - Go to Engineer Mode ( MTK ) > Connectivity > CDS information > Radio Information > Phone 1 (Or sim 1), Phone 2 (Or Sim 2), and you should type : AT +EGMR = 1,7,"yourIMEI" for "Phone 1", and AT +EGMR=1,10,"yourIMEI" for "Phone 2" and submit.
Then reboot your phone , you should be good to go…
PLEASE NOTE:
AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_NUM_HERE" the normal AT command above doesn't
work.. it gives an error report like this: "this AT command is not valid for UserBuild"
instead of the success report of: "AT COMMAND sent"
You must put a space between the "AT" and "+" in the code. So make sure the code is like below
and it will definitely work:
AT +EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_num_here” All applications and most write-ups online do not include the
space! So when you get to that AT page make sure you insert the "space" yourself…
It works like a charm, used 123456789012345 number for IMEI number (between "") and now I got both SIMs working. THAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU!!

Back camera, not work, IMEI 1 y 2 Lost!, what is the update?
This ROM is for the newer X6's which has a different chip for the camera, the older X6's (which I also use) lose the camera functions, but gain a great ROM… If you don't care about your camera, or don't use it, I highly recommend installing this ROM!
