Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

I can do the update for kitkat, but when the phone restarts not appear to set the start as normal, and the SIM card gives error saying that the application closed

1) Will the phone still OTA update when available from Doogee?
2) My 3G signal seems very weak compared to my coolpad, has anybody noticed weak 3G signal?

1) It should be official version so it shouldn't matter whether you installed it from here or via OTA, so yes, OTA should work
2) Seems normal to me so far…

I have noticed that. I also live in an area with a weak signal and before flashing Kit Kat i could get a signal (allbeit) weak in most parts of the house. Now i have to go upstairs to a bedroom window to get a signal. Don't know if there's anything can be done????
Cheers maddogcz, I was mistaken cannot get 3g signal at all, select 3g only in settings and no signal at all……. Not sure what is going on….could it be that the ROM is not wcdma ?
Hardly, I flashed this very ROM and works fine for me. Check the bands for this phone and the bands that uses your carrier. I know that some people in the US reported problems with 3G, but here (in the Czech Republic) it works. Did you have problems with 3G in previous version of the ROM (4.2.9)? You can try to got through Engineer mode to see whether you don't have some bands turned off bu I don't suppose that's the problem…
Downloaded mtk engineering app and looked at band Mode, I need wcdma_gsm_900. It is listed but not activated…… How can I activate it?
This rom has nvram error 0×10 under wifi and I cannot fix it as in 4.2.2 firmware replacing files wifi and wifi_custom. Under data-nvram-apcfg-aprdeb root explorer cannot copy any file.
Anyone has a fix for it?
prolly root problem. had the same issue. root explorer worked like a charm
I rooted with root genius and changed kinguser with supersu. Other app works, as titanium backup. Every root file manager doesn’t make me copy files under system and data folders… Don’t know why
try installing busybox too, see if re will work after that
also, I used root genius too, so no prob there
my SIM cards are not detected any more. i backed up ma IMEIs before, but restoring doesnt help. IMEI is still unknown and both SIM cards dont work. Any help on this?
accesing eng. mode and replacing them wont work. root your phone, install busybox, download mtkdroidtools, run it, gain root rights and retype your IMEI's. should work
if you've backed them up via muncle tools, it might work, but then again, its full of bugs so it might not. ^method above works
Siki, also with busybox no way to copy files under /data… Very very strange
And also, sometimes in root explorer nothing is found under sdcard0 and sdcard1… There’s a bug in this firmware
