hmmm… had the same issue on zopo zp820. it was su problem. doubt it's firmware related, because i'm having no problems whatsoever. perhaps replacing kinguser with superuser caused a problem
and how do i get the real IMEI Numbers out of the IMEI.bak file i made with Mobileuncle tools?
or out of a backup made with mtkdroidtools?
i guess i had to notice the numbers by hand, but i didnt
mine are written on the back, under the battery. yours should be there too
it didnt work, still IMEI unknown. I think i go back to 4.2.9 and try again
Try to put the IMEI from the MTK EngineerMode .
Youu have to be rooted . !
Open mobile uncle tools go to Engineer Mode (MTK) then at Telephony tab scroll down GPRS and there is SIM 1 and sim 2 set the IMEI THERE AND SAVE reboot and the phone will be ok
Also about the system read/write i have the same problem rooted with root genius but i can not copy or edit system folders. !
it's not the firmware. it works fine.
rooted with RootGenius 1.8.7, busybox installed with BusyBox Pro v14, and I' using Root Explorer 3.1.3.

It doesen’t work not reconize
If needed, I can supply full NVRAM for restoring via MTK Droid Tools. You will need to be properly rooted for restoring NVRAM.
If you give your nvram.bin with a pm upped somewhere… Thank you chinaphonearena
would you please send me the full nvram to restore my DG 550
i'll really appreciate if you do……..THANK YOU.
I really want to update to Kit Kat but I can't seem to get it to work. For some reason I can't get the proper drivers to install I think so I can't get the phone to connect to flash tools.
Any advice? I've read through this thread and updated with all the drivers I can find, but I just can't get the phone to connect so I can't back up my phone first, or intall the ROM.
You may need to clean some old drivers first
https://www.youtube.com/watch?.....v=QkUQDEYLXFM
check your computer -> device manager too and uninstall every driver that seem related to your Android Phone (form me it was PdaNet driver that was blocking it)
Be careful with KitKat, non rootable at the moment……
You may root it like this:
1) Root 4.2.9
2) Flash CWM or TWRP recovery
3) Flash KitKat using SP Flashtools BUT! Exclude (uncheck) recovery partition
4) In new KitKat enter recovery (should be intact after flashing – CWM or TWRP) and flash this baby http://download.chainfire.eu/4.....perSU-v2.02.zip
5) Profit
I rooted the device with Root gernius and it works with this 4.4.2 Rom !?
anyone have a custom recovery TWRP or CWM for kitkat ?
Not sure if I am totally right with this but I think recovery shouldn't have anything to do with Android or its version, it should be something like independent OS. At least I am using the very same TWRP on Kitat as I used on JB
i try to flash TWRP from the JB it say succesfull but when i boot into it id does nothing goes into stock chienese recovery .Same happens with CWM both tried via sp flash tools and mobile uncle tools…
you are 99% using wrong key combo. try using vol up+pow. works for me
