Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
Oh, and after flashing either ROM I also had no IMEI numbers. Using framaroot-1.9.3 to root phone and mobile uncle to enter new IMEI numbers worked without a problem. I used the IMEI number from the box for IMEI 1 and altered the last two digits to use as IMEI 2.

did you flash rom with recovery? wich?

Also note, I used “Format & Download” to flash! As it says, the phone will be formatted and all content is erased!
I´ve donne all like you did, install de version 1.0.5 from the needrom site, but my gps don´t seem to work
i need the usb drivers i think…
i can't use flashtool… without battery the ad android interface appear and disapper every seconds from pc devices
now i've the 1.0.5 but no gps signal…
how can i change the ebr files???
How to root the KS2 v2.0.1?? The root procedure that worked on 1.0.4 will not work on 2.0.1

Just use GeniusRoot, work in all versions 1.0.4 to 2.0.1.
