DESCRIPTION

ROM STAR N9589 – ROM Android 4.2.1 MIUI

Warning!
This ROM to install the first time in conjunction with lk.bin file, depending on the hardware configuration of your phone.

To test your configuration, run the factory mode.

Turn on the phone while holding the volume down. Select Version and scroll down (volume down).
If your configuration is different, the firmware is possible with a brick. Be careful.

Corresponding patch should be installed immediately after installing the firmware before rebooting.

If you install an update to a previous version of firmware and no longer identify callers on incoming / outgoing calls, use:

1. Settings-Apps-Contacts Storage-Clear data (All contacts and call log are deleted!!!)

2. Reboot phone

Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
            – Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
            – Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
            – Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while

※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Nice look, but impossible to switch to 3G sim, always in rouming. Useless.

I am in the US and just installed MIUI 3.8.9 Rom on my N9589 and was successful. Everything seems to work great except no phone service with my at&t sim. Is there any fix for this? I am currently trying to trouble shoot the problem. I noticed when reading up on forums, this seems to be common problem with MIUI. Any help would be greatly appreciate.
