ROM STAR N9589 – ROM Android 4.2.1 MIUI
Warning!
This ROM to install the first time in conjunction with lk.bin file, depending on the hardware configuration of your phone.
To test your configuration, run the factory mode.
Turn on the phone while holding the volume down. Select Version and scroll down (volume down).
If your configuration is different, the firmware is possible with a brick. Be careful.

If you install an update to a previous version of firmware and no longer identify callers on incoming / outgoing calls, use:
1. Settings-Apps-Contacts Storage-Clear data (All contacts and call log are deleted!!!)
2. Reboot phone

Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while

I am wonderig whether you can help me? I did a clean install with 3.12.7. My config is gc2035_yuv_Z57002N50C20. I can't switch to 3G, only 2G works for data. In setup, mobile network setting, network type selection is not selectable (light gray color). Performed an upgrade to 3.12.13, still the same problem.

Well, I have an Ulefone n9589T it means, with MTK6589T 1,5Mhz
I decided to flash my Android with this ROM and…. It works really really good, I used the right lk.bin and all it works. Thank you for your help and your work
Working just fine on my n9589, kind of tricky first time I've installed the rom but after doing a factory reset, everything worked out almost perfectly. I do not know if it was because I had no sim inserted in the phone but first time it kept getting stuck in lock screen. Fortunately, I did not give up on this fabulous rom and took away the sd card and inserted the sim. After that, the phone ran smoothly as it should be. thanks masslakoff for sharing.

I have a Star N9599 1GB 8GB
I installed the latest version of this ROM and the appropriate lk.bin and the ROM is working an absolute dream! One of the best I’ve seen.
One small problem is that my front facing camera is upside down
anyone know how to fix this? I’m guessing its an issue due to my phone not actually being a N9589 and not having the correct camera libs?
Any help is much appreciated and would love to solve this.
