I read all the posts but im really confused, if someone can put a step by step to get the ROM 6 working i'll appreciate a lot.

I have the stock rom on my X920.
I've downloaded the "20130705_e2001_v89_zlh_hd" ROM, last one !
Now, how can i apply it ?
- Rename the .ZIP to "update.zip" and use the stock recovery works ?
- Or should i install the flash tool and do it that way ? Then, what're the steps to start and finish the upgrade ? Step by step, because i see 2 many files inside the .ZIP.
I really apretiate your help, i dont want to mess up and come therefore with report of problems, wanna do it with sucess at the first time.

Should seem like a noob but…i'm here for 3 hours trying to get this ROM installed and i cant.
On the SP flash tools, is stays on "searching " EMMC, and 0% progress…doesnt matter if the phone is ON, Off, Recovery, nothing, it does not load and shutdown to go for the next step.
Tryied the .ZIP and the boot.img from stock recovery, without sucess.
Tryied to install freds recovery, withouth sucess, dont know how to do it (stock rom or tool).
I've the original ROM on the phone, and want to put thelast one from month 07, day 5.
Please provide me support to get there, im going crazy,
Hi all ! After no help, a couple of few hours arround google, and almost briked my phone…i managed somehow to install the last rom from the first page, 20130705, directly from the stock that came with the device.
I'll pute here my old doubts, maybe they can help someone in the future
- My main problem for use the SP Flash Tool and the "firmare update" for flash the rom, was the drivers…i installed over a Windows 7 64 bits, the MT65XX device, the ADV, the PreLoader, but…it was missing one, the MediaTEK VCOM one, witch will make all work now on … ! Maybe someone could upload all of them to the first post, will be usefull for newbies.
- The Rom instaled after shutdown the phone with no usb connection, removing the battery, click "Firmware Update" on the SP Flash Tool, press VOL + while connecting the USB, and the data transfer started. I had arround 25% of battery, and it was more then enought (well, i didnt really needed the battery to place the ROM on the phone). Then it just booted up, taked arround 3 minuts.
PROBLEMS:
- OK ! "Wath tha …. #""$#$ " ? Was what i thinked about…all working but my SIM Card 1 or 2 didnt work, just keept searching for network. Then i read… INVALID IMEI – SIM CARD LOCKED. Ok … OK…Instaling the rom, DELETED MY IMEIs from the Phone.
SOLUTION:
- On the back side of your phone, you should have IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 described somewhere. Use a tool " MTK TOOLS", click on "ROOT" to gain SHELL ROOT and change both the IMEIs (have a button) (They went to NULL!". IMEIs changed…NETWORK FOUND on both SIM Cards!
CASE: I dont know what are the "3G problem" mentioned here…but i tried to use even slot 1 or slot 2 to use DATA CONNECTION on the sim card but…it was really slow, no 3G or H+ network…just 2G\GSM what was really slow !!! I cant managed it arround, it was no way, and i was on a "3G network Zone" .
How i solved ? I dont really now… i did the "3G FIX", and after that, the phone mentioned the SIM 1 does not support 3G, if i want to SWIPE the configuration, told YES and…voilá… 3G and H+ working… all good !
What' a story… internet research…and all… crazy think for a person who did not know nothing about this.
Hope this can help someone in the future.

Yes, the USB drivers you mentioned helped me get it up and running.
Well, it flashed finally but then when I try to power on my X920e….it won't do anything. Now I can't get it to flash again (different rom and txt).
Any advice? It's just a black screen again but this time no power to the black screen (no black light).
If you press Volume + (1st and keep pressing) then at the "same" time the power button, it gets to any recovery, even the stock one ?
Are you sure you flashed the correct rom for your device model, and used the UPGRADE button ?
Well..try it:
- Phone ON, connect it to the computer with Flash Tools loaded with your TXT file, and press – UPGRADE FIRMWARE (nothing will happen)
- Turn the phone OFF, unplug the USB, Remove the battery, and wait 10 seconds.
- Connect the phone throught USB, now press VOLUME + and POWER ON (without battery yes!), it should start download the rom… !
I tried to run the flash tool but no matter what I do, its not working. Instead of getting a green status bar at the bottom…it gives me a really fast red status bar and doesn't flash.
