DESCRIPTION
THL 5000 Ultimate v3 is next great ROM from excellent ukrainian author Dimid/iv2012 (see below this post and please donate him on WebMoney (if you have an account there). It's a pity that Dimid hasn't Paypal. ROM is ROOTed, GAPPS are included. Dimid gave me permission to upload ROM here. I prepared special patch which remove the residual cyrillic and add missing translates (if you want to support me in next translations, there is Paypal donation button down on this page. It is not a button to support Dimid, donate him on WebMoney, if you have an account there).

Installation: (as usually from TWRP)
1 - save the ROM file THL_5000_Ultimate_III.zip on the SD card
2 - jump to TWRP recovery, if you haven't it, install it (installation instructions are here, sorry in slovak language only,use Google translator): http://androidforum.cz/twrp-2-7-1-0-root-pre-thl-5000-t57731.html
3 - click Wipe and select items: Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data, Int.SDcard (optional) and Android Secure, then click Swipe to Wipe
4 - click on Install, choose ROM file and install it - click Swipe to Install, then click Reboot System
5 – go to TWRP, istall file UltimateV3_NewTransl&Patch5.zip - click Install, then Wipe Cache/Dalvik, finally click Restart to system
6 – finish
Instructions:
How does the new status bar works (colors are only for explanation)?
Green field – slide down -> shows applications reports
Orange pole – double click -> lock the screen
Blue pole – slide down -> shows the toolbar icons
Otional patches (install in TWRP, then click Wipe Cache/Dalvik, finally click Reset to system):
- Kernel110_old_disp.zip - core for old display type (install when your Gama is different from value 2.0)
- Modem_st_850.zip – for testing purposes, original THL modem 850/2100MHz. If you have problems with wifi/3G, try this. It will replace integrated 900/2100Mhz modem from Dimid (several people reported small problems, me not). This modem may be used in any Dimids ROM. If you do not have problems, do not install.
- DelWalkman.zip - who does not like integrated Sony Walkman player, can uninstall it by this patch (try uninstall if you have any problems with sound)
- UltimateV3_NewTransl&Patch3.zip adds missing translations, removes cyrrilic from all languages and installs all additional Dimid adjustments (fix Bluetooth, displaying G letters in Status bar, repair Permission Manager, Halllockscreen and EPO.DAT)
- UltimateV3_NewTransl&Patch4.zip adds missing translations, removes cyrrilic, installs all additional patches: Status.zip (corrects displaying G letters in Status bar), U_30_upd.zip (fix Bluetooth, fix Permission Manager, Halllockscreen and EPO.DAT), dyn_bar&extra.zip (Dynamic Status Bar + more information about the system in the "Settings/About device" (CPU, screen, and so on.)
- UltimateV3_NewTransl&Patch5.zip a small icons G | 3G enabled only when enabled data transfer + red LED on messages and missed calls.

Is Dimid always focused on ROMs? Does he makes/edits Kernels for better performance, and optimizations? Just asking.
I use the UltimateV1,but the 3g network is so sluggish,I try both the Modem_900 and the Modem_850,I wonder if this rom will solve the problem.

MY wifi, is not good as some months ago.. i don't know what happened. Maybe some fall damaged the wifi antenna. Sometimes the signal is at 50% but some online games and videos don't load. The wifi connection even goes down sometimes at 50% signal! I went back to Classic V3, but same thing! Again, don't know if some fall damaged the phone, but some people are reporting the same as me. If Ultimate had bad wifi drivers wouldn't going back to Classic V3 solve the issue? I even cleaned/wiped0 all partitions in TWRP. Weird stuff…

to install this rom with twrp do i have to go back to stock o can i stay with bigger partition size?

Flashed this after Ultimate V1 and everything is working properly, I only had to roolback to 850 modem as I lose callssms if I use the 900 one.
One weird thing though, Backup and Restore from lenovo does not appear in the application drawer, I see it in the application manager but can't access it. I've also tried to create a shortcut in the home screen but it does not appear as an option. Cleanned davik and cache but same issue.
Access to Lenovo Backup and Restore is strictly via Settings/Backup & reset/App backup and restore. It's done so intentionally.
Integrated modem 900 does not have WiFi so I had to install original THL modem 850. This ROM is ugly, it looks like my old phone. It is KitKat but looks like old ugly JellyBean. Icons are huge so it feels claustrophobic like 4 inch phone. Maybe ppi is adjusted for old people but it is a shame to decrease screen space on such a great FullHD screen. On this ROM, 5 inch screen looks like a huge 4 inch screen. I like to have more screen space than everything to be bigger. Original ROM is much prettier, modern and better for me as I don't care about customization as much as I care about polished experience. Nothing beats original ROM so I reverted. Is anyone working on Lollipop ROM?
Baba, i think you actually can change the resolution (ppi) on this ROM.
How do I edit or delete my comment? I get used to smaller icons because of Nova Launcher but ppi settings are fine on this ROM. I just dont like that ugly Holo blue color scheme that remindes me of old Android versions. Android got rid of that in KitKat and replaced it with white.

I have the option Settings/Backup & reset/App backup and restore but when I try to access App backup and restore (backup call logs, mms, etc) I have error "Sorry, Backup&Restore was interrupted". I've flashed it again yesterday. If the ROM before flashing was the stock 1.1.2 could it cause this? I've wiped everything as intructed.
The colours are not a new status bar, they're areas in the normal status bar that have new actions
