you can also try my steps. First upgrading using the official rom from infocusphone.com and then flash this rom. That fixed my dead GPS. See for more info my previous post in this topic.
Hello, i tried your steps,i first installed the infocus official rom (large file) then installed the custom needrom rom without errors.
Now i can´t install another rom, because the mantainence mode gone. How can i install the official rom again?

You must enable permissions control in the setting menu . Allow your gps programs to use gps in permission control app. Download gpsfix app. This app will find your position in 5-20 min. After this try run gps test.
Not working, with gpstest, only No fix, no satellites. Any way to fash again the official rom?

The ROM works very good at my phone, everything goes smoother but here is my problem.
My memory to put apps on is very small (300mb), i can install like 5 apps and then it is full (160MB left)so i put in a SD card 8GB but i can't install anything on it or transfer the apps to it.
I dont have any photo's or movie's at my phone. I've removed all the chinese apps wich were on it. I really don't know how it's possible.
What have i done wrong?
I had a lot of problems with adding apps – it would not even though I could see enough memory for them. I presumed its some kind of estimation of what the app needs rather than the actual size. So after filling up my phone I went back to a clean state of having removed all the chinese apps and while it was 'empty' I installed Link2SD having make a 16gb ext4 partition on my SD card. I then was able to install more apps….. but I again hit a memory limit. The perfect solution was when I went back to a clean state again – bought the paid-for version of Link2SD – and then reinstalled all my apk's and – fantastic no more problems, I have plenty of free memory and everything works fine. I'm using a Samsung 64gb card in the phone. Its very fast.
Go to factory data reset , the disappear memory will come out again.

Does someone know how to start the phone in bootload modus, I've deleted one program wich i thought was a chinese app but apparently it wasnt.
Now the phone doesnt start anymore till the android screen, it keeps on loading the Infocus screen.
I would like to reinstall the romversion with my sd card or with the computer but i don't really know how.

The ROM works very good at my phone, Google pllay store, GPS OK ,everything goes smoother but here is my problem " memory" . Before I use this rom, I install many apps. After I root this rom, I install not more than ten apps. and then say limit memory That is (System use 1.96G , Apps 480M , empty space only remain 200M), where are the remain 1G? Anyone can help me. Thanks!

Good morning, I have also rooted the phone but I do not have access to GPS and I cannot move the softwares to the SD by using link2SD or External to internal SD. This was initially the first reason why I rooted my phone. Could you telle if you managed to find a solution to mount the SD card into the phone in order to install all the softwares into the external SD card. For the moment I do not know how to fix it ?
For the GPS where I can setup this Server: supl.google.com. Server Port: 7276 in order to verify that the GPS is working ?
It's very weird, but even gps is not getting signal in programs like gps test, it works perfectly with google maps, not with tomtom or navfree, but with google maps even works without data connection… have you guys tried this?
Hi there by a new owner of this phone. My problem is that : I tried to update on wifi to a new 15CN_1_080 available by apdating menu software on phone but after restarting i see Android System recovery <3e> 00cn_0_23A and i can choose : Reboot system now or Apply update from internal storage or Apply update from sdcard or Wipe data/factory reset or Wipe cache partition. At the end of the phone display in yellow text i read : finding update package…Opening update package…verifying update package…Installing update… Mounting partition Verifying current system…." /hidden / data / CDA /100CN / CDA / setting.xml " has unexpected contents. E: Error in / data / media / 0 / update.zip (status 7 ) installation aborted .
Until now the phone is multilanguage by default with version 15CN_1_03A . How to procede to go on ? thanks a lot
