Hi guys,
I need help. I just got my m512 and had a wifi update of the original rom. The tried to install this rooted rom. But phone got into download mode -fixed "infocus" screen- and that's all. I do not know how to get out download mode and tray to flash again.
Please some help.

After installing this rom, can't go into recovery mode by press volume up + power.

I haven't tried it yet, may be it soves finally gps problems…
I reply myself… I upgraded and now I have lost my imei
and wifi doesn't work anymore, and lost my locale aswell. I flashed miui and wifi came back, but not my imei, going to flash this rooted rom again and let's cross fingers…I didn't try gps
Well, good news, I went to the russian miui forum, and saw a modem.zip patch, flashed it, and voilá, my imei is back and now GPS WORKS!! So now I'm running miui rom, and wifi and Imei are back and gps which never locked sats, now does… HAPPY AFTER A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM!!

What kind of modem.zip patch, i have installed the needrom firmware, everything ok, except GPS don´t work. Is that patch going to wake up the GPS?
Jackgar Pls Can you help me I made the mistake of install the update. I don't know what you do I. Can you make a tutorial with the links how to solve this problem from the imei and wifi connection. I really nice my smartphone back

No, it is not, chinese, english… and some more asian, but not spanish which was mine, nor french or german, etc. Miui is very beautyful, but I have lost the notification led (which is not very important as I am using a flip cover). Battery seems to last 20-30% less. When you lose signal it says senseless things like "incorrect pin code". I guess sooner or later I'll get back to stock rom, I must first get recovered from the scary day I had yesterday,
Anybody succeeded in inserting google apps (gapps)? Once I updated to the new ROM, gapps wasn't there and I had no way to do that.
When setting the local language to Hebrew, there is a problem with the incoming/outgoing calls screen.
The problem is that the service provider name and call counter share the same screen space as the caller namer and telephone number.
I guess the same thing happend with any language which is written right to left.
To solve this I edited the InCallUI.apk

En AGPS settings escribir lo siguiente:
Server: supl.google.com
Port: 7275
Usar las apk "FasterGps" y "GpsFix". Cuando se haya realizado el fix tendreis localizados bastantes satelites.
