Install ROM:
 V2 and up

Download desired zip and copy on sdcard.

You need a modified recovery to install the firmware and updates. If you have it already, proceed to step 3. If you don't have, follow these steps:

1. Download Lenovo drivers, unzip the archive. Turn off the phone and remove battery. Open device manager and connect the phone to PC. Watch for new devices. It will be displayed as МТ65хх Preloader. You need to be quick, because it will dissapear in some second. Click on it with the right button and select update driver. Point the wizard to the driver folder, it will install the correct driver automatically.
If it doesn't work with removed battery you can try to power on the phone and turn on developer options in settings or enter meta mode – hold Volume Down and Power buttons. Then connect the phone to PC again.
2. Download and extract Recovery zip and Flash tools. Run Flash Tools, click on DL DA All With Check Sum, load the scatter file located in Recovery folder, uncheck Preloader and hit Download (F6). Remove battery from phone and connect it to PC. When done, a green circle will appear.
3. Enter recovery mode – hold Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons until you see the logo. Make a backup of your current system first. Install new zip.

    i disconnected my modem and earased previus install of the task meneger- than i choose manualy "lenovo compositeadb interface"
    i tried the flash tool & now he didn't started al all like the device is not conected

    I'm having trouble with the drivers. When I plug the phone in with the battery disconnected, it briefly appears in "devices and printers" as "MT65XX preloader" but this doesn't give me the option to change the driver.

    i tried it all!
    whan i connect the phone it's recognize as a "mediatek preloader usb vcom port" i trid to install the recovery' i tried to reset the phone by installing the original rom' itried to audate  and even to format!

    what else to do? it doesn't turn on! and in the flash tool i alwayes stuck  after the red bar finish loading /
    it writes "

    how to obtain tool logs?
    1. run the tool;
    2.press Ctrl+Alt+t (tool title hint:runtime trace mode);
    3.[Menu} help-[SubMenu] open logs folder/

      I get this when I have a usb stick plugged in another port. If you don't have any other usb devices and your keyboard and/or mouse are usb, then load the scatter file, click on the da dl all with check sum, click on download an diconnect keyboard and mouse. Plug the phone via usb cable. If it doesn't help, you can try to put the battery in the phone and do the same steps again.

      Then i don't know :( Are you sure your usb cable is plugged all the way down into the phone usb port?

      When you try to flash a full ROM, do you hit Download or Firmware->Upgrade?

      Since you've formatted everything, you need to load the scatter file and with selected all files you need to click on Firmware->Upgrade, otherwise you will get an error after the preloader (red progressbar).

      Another variant would be if you can find a PC with XP or Windows 7 and try to install the driver. I think all these problems you have are from incorrect/missing driver.

    Bad news. Replacement touchscreen is smaller than original one and doesn't work as expected :( I don't know where to buy a 100% original one…
