ROM Install :
CWM
Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
I've rooted Vibe 2.0 with MTKDroidTools and changed IMEIs!
But it was a little bit complicated:
First change to an CWM-Recovery with FlashTools (normally I prefer TWRP),
then install SuperSu with MTKDroidTools,
then back to Recovery to Update SuperSU (1.8).
Then the phone was fully rooted and ready to change IMEIs.
But after that I had probs with Gapps. I've tried it with "gapps-kk-20140105-signed.zip", but installation was failed. With "GApps_Light_4.4.2_signed.zip" installation was successful.
Great, all seems fine. In contrast to AOSP both cameras are working.

Now I think there is a SuperSU v.1.9
After that you can root in the recovery-mode with MTKDroid Tools.
You see there a checkbox in Cyan:
im just too new for this..sorry.. i dont even know how to change cwm with flashtool.
you only need a suitable cwm-recovery, a recovery for the p780.
Then load your scatter-file, deactivate all checkboxes, only the recovery-checkbox is on.
Then select with a doubleclick this cwm-recovery.
Then follow the steps above.
If you like it, a scatter-file:
MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt
and a cwm-recovery:
recovery.img
after do that, press download? then?

@Hoanbt et @bruko thanks guys. I flashed the chinese rom S135 which was rooted with gapps and twrp. after which i flashed vibe 1.5 then vibe 2.0. I did a quick setup, shut down, flashed superuser v1.05, reboot and successfully restored imei with mobileuncletools.
For gapps, I flashed http://d-h.st/lGj YourZgappsXS-4.4-2014.06.18.zip as recommended somewhere by bruko and that worked.

There is a rooted version and I use it for 5 days and is
“almost bugless” , but it needs work from the devs to make it faster and clean the bugs .

don’t wipe data (factory reset) !!!

I have found that the vibe roms are laggy and slow overall. I’m on AOSP right now, it’s really fast but missing some options and apps that I fond useful on vibe. I haven’t tried this 2.0 thing, can someone who had tried it tell me how it feels and moves?
So I'm done setting up the device. The system lags and for some reason the lag got worse after a while. I don't know if restoring apps via titanium backup is to blame. Developer options is quite scanty and gravity box doesn't expand them at all thus you can't turn off animations to make the system faster
The first sim is tied down in 3G/2G mode and not even gravitybox can help you change it.
I'm so looking forward to the finished product or a stable version of this ROM as it just feels like iOS7 on Android. lol
For now i'm switching back to AOSP V1.8

if you did flashing gapps, there is no problem with google services.
