I found this ROM on a Russian forum (I am not the author): (http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=677076&st=960)
It works very well.
Does not work: fingerprint scanner, proximity sensor, the Home button does not wake up the phone.
The rest runs smoothly.
I would recommend, although it still requires refine.
Maybe someone can run the HOME button and fingerprint scanner?
(Home button works with xposed – see in comments on page 3 - thanks to abdelm7910)
Maybe someone could prepare some other patches?

02.09.2016: Add a update to MIUI 8 (6.8.11) – the file I found on russian forum (thanks to Bosanova1917 – http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=677076&view=findpost&p=52661926).
Everything works fine. I do update without wipe.

I didn’t try to sign in to mi acount when i installed this rom. Just skip that step. My phone was working normally. Maybe you must try again to install it. By the way, did you try the rom i have uploaded? Try the Modulate rom. Is not like miui. Is more like the stock rom but with better battery life performance.
I would sign in or skip that step, but after providing Google credentials, the screen gets grayed out while on the bottom there is a normal collored area, saying "Checking Find device status…" and that's it!
Haha, nice… from all roms I have tried, Modulate 2.16 is the one that I sticked to, since it seems to have the best stability. I was wondering if there is any way to fix that Stagefright flow though.
As for Modulate and Miui V7 6.5.5 UBT_2 (cause I found a more recent version, but having the same MI login issue at the beginning)… which one would you recommend after trying both of it?
