I found this ROM on a Russian forum (I am not the author): (http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=677076&st=960)
It works very well.
Does not work: fingerprint scanner, proximity sensor, the Home button does not wake up the phone.
The rest runs smoothly.
I would recommend, although it still requires refine.
Maybe someone can run the HOME button and fingerprint scanner?
(Home button works with xposed – see in comments on page 3 - thanks to abdelm7910)
Maybe someone could prepare some other patches?

02.09.2016: Add a update to MIUI 8 (6.8.11) – the file I found on russian forum (thanks to Bosanova1917 – http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=677076&view=findpost&p=52661926).
Everything works fine. I do update without wipe.

No flashlight
It is a shame…I can live without Home button and fingreprint scanner…but I take lots of photos :/
Anyone kows I to solve it?
In my phone flashlight works well. I do update from 6.1.21 without wipe (only cach wipe)
Mine now works. Probably it was due to low battery…
How to root it? I tried to flash SuperSu in TWRP. Doesnot work.

I have a problem with the battery on the latest Miui. When I use the phone, battery discharges very quickly. Sometimes just 30 minutes from 95% to 0%. On standby it works about 15-20 hours Does anyone has the same problem?
Your battery is bad. Best to order 2 more batteries
So, how do I install this?
First 6.1.21 and the update with 6.5.5 and 6.8.11? Or can I install directly 6.8.11?
Is the Home -button working with 6.8.11?
Which one do you recommend? MiUI8 or Modulate ROM? I have now Modulate and it's pretty good.
What's pro's and con's between the two?
You can install directly 6.8.11.
I use Miui several months and it is very good ROM (v.6.1.21) After upgrade to 6.8.11 I've probem with battery, but I think it is problem with the battery not software. Modulate ROM is vulnerable to Stagefright, Miui is clean.

Miui 8 Not is root. Anyone know the root process in miui 8?
