Rom for Lenovo P780
base : VIBEUI_V1.5_1423_9_ST_P780_5B7B
Removed all chinese and Lenovo applications whitout camera and gallery
Added GAPPS, ROOT and some stock apps
This rom is multilanguage, contain about 70 languages
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select the MT6589_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- choose DA DL All With Check Sum
- Turn off your phone, (push the red reset button)
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow, if no, then have to install the driver from Flash toolSP_Drivers_v1.5 folder
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

I noticed SENDING SMS MESSAGE prompt from bottom for four times after installing ROM , what is it about ?

it only has to be pushed once, it doesnt have any importance how long you'll push

Its ok, not a big concern but I noticed SENDING SMS MESSAGE notification in bottom of my screen for three times during the auto downloads of apps from google play.

How stable is this 1423 ST version? Cannot afford to have problem or many bugs as I only got one Android phone for both home and work use. Probably will flash to this ROM next weekend if it is a perfect ROM.

How about the special features that lenovo offers with its custom settings? Like smart answer, smart battery etc. These are not offered by the software but by the ROM itself. Are these features available through your ROM?
