Rom for Lenovo P780
base : VIBEUI_V1.5_1423_9_ST_P780_5B7B
Removed all chinese and Lenovo applications whitout camera and gallery
Added GAPPS, ROOT and some stock apps
This rom is multilanguage, contain about 70 languages
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select the MT6589_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- choose DA DL All With Check Sum
- Turn off your phone, (push the red reset button)
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow, if no, then have to install the driver from Flash toolSP_Drivers_v1.5 folder
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Hi all, this ROM worked for my Lenovo P780 8GB (ROW stock ROM 4.2). It's very light & fast, but not pure AOSP. It's true Android 4.4 & having kitkat related features like default messaging app etc. It does not remove IMEI no.s.
WiFi works, both SIM cards are working. Thanks a lot.

A like this rom very much. It's fast and stable. But i have little problem. I'm using this rom on hungarian and the 'voice search' tells me 'INITIALIZING'. What am I doing wrong?
Anyone know how to set to use SIM card contacts? Seems like KitKat 4.4 contacts must be from gmail account and will not take from SIM card. I am having different contacts on SIM1 and SIM2 for work and personal and I do not want to merge them and stored at my gmail account. Thanks.

Does anyone know how to install twrp recovery on this rom. I tried it with mobile uncletools but it didn't work. The standard recovery in the rom doesn't have an option to install flashable zipfiles, it only allows update.zip to install…thank you for any help.

hi, install the software "Recovery tools" from playstore, you can do it easily, if you got a recovery file that is in flash ready 'img' not in zip format
Cześć. Mam nie typowe pytanie. Sformatowałem pamieć telefonu i teraz nie mogę wgrać systemu. czy byś mógł jakoś mnie pokierować jak to zrobić? Był bym wdzieczny. Bo system wiem jak wgrać za pomocą programu SP FLASH i za pomocą tego proframu go sformatowałem. Z góry dzieki
Hi..baralajbi. After trying so many ROM and custom recovieries for my P780 8GB , I found that this TWRP recovery works with every ROM . I tried it with your Vibe 1.5 ROM and AOSP 4.4 from Russian forums. But this recovery shows a chinese start screen and therest is in English. Can you please change the Chinese image from it and replace it with the original TWRP recovery page and upload it in your p780 section.Thanks http://d-h.st/17U
