* SSTM Mode (Super Speed Trick Mode):
In order to switch modes, you have to go to settings/optimisation.
This mode improves graphics interface response as well as speed in games.
It basically works by reducing screen resolution so as to increase FPS and reduce the size of images and texts (frees up RAM) without taking away image quality.
There are three modes:
- Normal: Average resolution values of the device (1920×1080).
- Fast: Resolution values reduced to 1280×720 (increase to 5fps in 3D).
- Faster: Resolution values recuded to 960×540 (increase to 10fps in 3D).
Installation:
It installs recovery, we recommend TWRP you can download from our website.
- Download ROM and copy it to the internal SD.
- Enter TWRP Recovery.
- Wipe Data (Optional, and makes installation)
- Wipe Cache. (Optional, and makes installation)
- Wipe Dalvik Cache. (Optional, and makes installation)
- Format system. (Optional, and makes installation)
- Install ROM from SD.
- Automatic restart.

Thank for the update smart wake work fine I have find 2 problems ifyou manage to solve it it will be the best Rom. I don’t receive good mobile signal. Also we must solve the problem with led to have green color too. Thanks for your work

No it is actual AOSP. Stock Android. GravityBox works 100%, so not just a skin over the stock rom.

Found following bugs:
- Icons for Wifi, SIM1 and SIM2 in the notification bar have too much space between
- When in data roaming mode, the "R" and "3G/H/H+" overlaps
- In german mode, some parts are english (example: Draw your pattern/Wrong pattern at unlock screen)
I'm on version 1.3

I've just ran into a smart "wake" problem:
The screen lock is configured to use the pattern one. With smart"wake" / smart "unlock" enabled, the pattern lock could be by-passed occasionally, i.e. user double-tap the screen, the phone wake up, the system does not ask for unlocking pattern and go strict into the system. When I pressed "Home" button at this moment, the system will ask for the unlocking pattern again.
Please help.
Ah, was able to fix Bug 1 / 2. Installed only rom + latest update. After installing all updates, bugs were fixed. But the "R" for roaming still overlaps with the WiFi Icon.
Found a serious bug:
If screen is locked you can press any other key (like volume up). Then you're able to use the last opened app. You can also open the settings over the notification bar.
If you try to go back to the homescreen, the phone asks for unlock.
Experienced the same bug.
It is really serious, the security lock feature is totally useless now.

BUt I have the same problem: on the lock screen (I have activated face recognition or pin code as a fallback), just touch the return button and – bingo! you're unlocked!
That is a serious issue! Please review for your next update.
Hello S3 AOSP users
My S3 (advanced) will arrive tomorrow and I'll try AOSP asap (after having made stock backup).
One question? are any filesystems other than FAT32 supported for external uSD card, like: exFAT NTFS or ext{2,3,4} ?

so you think that this device will get an update to the next android version after Lollipop? Probably Android M? and N as well? or I think Jiayu will stop updating the device after Lollipop, and all mtk6752 devices will be stuck at lollipop… something like that maybe?
Android lollipop isn’t released for jiayu s3 yet anf don’t even know if they will even release it or not and you are talking about android M and N..!!!???

The processor is a 64 bit cortex a53, and the phone was designed for lollipop because of the 64 bit capability. So, yes it is getting a lollipop update, and they are in the stage of fine tuning the android so that it doesnt lag, doesnt give problems…. so we should expect lollipop in April…
