Install ROM :
To unpack TOOL run Flash_tool.exe
Select a the in _scatter_emmc.txt in ROM with Flashtools
Click Flash_tool.exe interface Firmware-> Upgrade
Phone after taking the battery in put something
Connect the data cable
Brush finished with green circles appears

So you say that if i have the old version 20130515-101500 i can update to 20130601-094008 but i need to do it with the version 3.1312.0.139 of the flashtool? If i use an older version of flashtool i will brick my phone? thats it? Thanks!
if you smarthphone is brick, mainboard shortchange. my phone it fix that.

I have not tested this version though. 3.1312.0.139 does work though
I have a S5 MTK6589t: 1 GB Ram, 8 GB Rom
I flashed the Update 06/01 and now there is only 1,48 GB instead of 5,3 total memory remaining
Can someone help ?
Men, you gotta read the mf' comments. It's simple: Purge your phone data in Config. > Storage > Delete/erase PHONE data.

I have a STAR S5 MTK 6589 Rev B with installed firmware 20130530-103629 and it's possible to update
to 20130601-094008.I do with SP flash tool v3.1316.0.150 and my Star S5 work perfectly.Wifi is very stable now and GPS very precise.You can go . nice
I was having trouble with 20130515-101500 firmware, my phone operator (Tim, Brazil) kept disconnecting me all the time.
So I advise people, whoever is having a hard time with the gsm operator (signal show as dead) you can try using another firmware. I installed https://www.needrom.com/mobile...../star-s5-6/ firmware and my problem went away. Haven't tried the official 20130601-094008 fw thus far.
Is it possible to use this for SmartPhone No1. S5?

I just flashed this rom using SP flash tool in the links and phone is bricked. I cannot turn it on. What should I do now? I keep getting DRAM error. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
I have same problem. Bricked after accidentally used format whole flash( so I think it doesn't have bootloader file? When I connect phone to PC (without battery) it's displayed as MTK USB Port (COM5), with battery it's unknown device. However SP flash tool end up with DRAM 4032 err. Thx
