Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6752_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

If you talk about the ROM, the S3W is WCDMA, not for china….

can someone tell me how to upgrade? With Clockwork "Install zip", it does not work.
which file are you upgrading for which device ? most files must be flashed with flash tools
Have you seen that the UTC and local time are wrong, late by one hour.
I found that::
" The problem is that the gps chip inside mtk reports wrong UTC time by one hour. This means that the gps is "thinking" that the sky view (the current visible satellites) is Different by one hour from the true view and that confuses the gps and can cause many navigation errors."
That maybe the reason the precision is sometime bad.
Since flashing one of these ROMs (the correct one for my S3s) I can no longer connect to my phone network (Giffgaff/O2 UK). I've tried flashing the stock as well as all the other compatible ROMs to no avail, the networks still appear in my manual search and I have ensured the APN is set up correctly but it just says 'Cannot connect to network at this time', SIM is still working fine in other phones.
Any suggestions?
Did you try ROM 4? It should be ok for your S3 advanced.
Tried ROM 4 previously, my IMEI number is now invalid and isn't being fixed by installing other ROMs =/
restored using *#4634# code)…try this to enter IMEI number …1 and 2 is the same…and my network is start to work
