Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6752_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

That's normal S3S ROMs don't have GAPPS. You need to install manualy, or only install S3SW ROMs ( GAPPS are included).
Manualy installing/reinstalling – the same thing. Google play service stop working. Flashed S3SW and got working GAPPS and bad camera video recordings. I'm going back to S3S 20150411-154516. This is the best ROM till now.

can you leave a message here when you've found a solution to get the GAPPS working and the bad video recordings solved too?
I'm looking also for a simple solution or a detailled tutorial to do it right. I've flashed the same rom as you and needs GAPPS working fine which is doing well with this rom (ROM4) but having kids the camera recording was something I used a lot with my Galaxy S4 and can't use anymore here because of the very bad quality.

anyone have a problem with Wifi 5Ghz connection with S3 ?
in my device it works in the begining, now for some reason can't recognize 5Ghz networks,

3GB RAM models have trouble.
WiFi and bluetooth does not work while charging.

Why the last updates don’t come with GApps preinstaled??
S3 and S3S firmware is 'Chinese' and does not have GApps (the reson why, I guess only Jiayu can tell)
S2W and S3SW firmware is English and does have GApps.
One can install GApps on a Chinese firmware.

The Flash version you can install it with Flash Tool… And OTA version you can copy to SD card, reboot in recovery and install it from there or with the mobileuncle tools.
I have installed the 20150507 and all works fine. Just one question the phone is not fully rooted ? because i can't see the engineer mode MTK in MobileUncle Tools and i can't remove the chinese apps with Titanium backup or even to integrate into system an update of an system app.
As a small problem :
1. The phone has only 2 notification lights: red and green … for some notifications ( ex. facebook notification for games ) the led nootification is set for blue.
2. The phone has some small problems with the touchscreen when the USB cable is connected. I tried with his standard cable and with other USB cable both connected to the charger and to the PC. You can see it when you try to keep the home sensor pressed.
3. The memory usage is same as 20150411 version … if you kill the apps, in time the memory gets form 2,15GB ( after the phone startup) to 1,50GB of usage ( after using the apk kill command – hold menu sensor pressed), so after a while you need to restart the phone.
The gps works fine – i have fix even indoors … Outdoor the acurracy is aprox 4 mt from the real position, with the GPS Test apk i'v got min 4 feet acurracy. In iGo the gps shows and GLONASS gps ( didn't tried if it catches signal for GLONASS ).
You have to install "MTK engineering mode" from the Play store. Glonass sat are active ( in south of France)
I have currently installed firmware S3SW 20150314-141844. In order to get updates faster i want to install the S3S-Firmware. Can i use the the OTA-Update of Firmware S3S 20150507-083407 for installing by using TWRP (boot to recovery – install – update.zip) or do I need to use the flash tool to come to S3S?
