Install ROM :

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6752_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
   –> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

    Hi

    The phone seems to have a a problem with the GPS and trekking Applications. The trace recorded is very abnormal, and of course a wrong distance. Did you check that.

    S3 with the latest S3W.

      Yes I noticed the same. Maybe there is still something  to do to make GPS much accurate

      Download MT gps from the google play and with root execute. That should fix the EPO files :) you must activate root and have a superuser installed

    I followed the instructions for using ROM 4. But when I connect my phone nothing happens. The Pc does'nt see my phone.

    This page makes Jiayu S3's ROM complicated. Here are official International ROM for Jiayu S3S(3GB RAM) and S3 2GB RAM

    I bought the JIAYU S3 phone smartphone 4G 5,5" Gorilla MTK6752 1.7Ghz Qcta core  3G RAM.

    This is the second phone as when I installed twrp onto first it went into logo loop mode and the shop said all was deleted on it.

    I do not want to go through posting and waiting again so I’m doing this one carefully and slowly.

    All I want is to have Gapps installed and I will be happy. :-) I live in the UK if that helps.

    Questions:

    Is mine s3 advanced or basic or what?

    Mine is a MTK6752 and all I see is MT6752 roms, I don't see any reference to the one that has the K in it and does it matter?

    please can someone help as it took over month to get the first phone then shop send it to mainland to try and fix it then returned it then at my own expense returned it for a replacement has been nearly 3 months from ordering and scared to do the wrong thing again.

    any help will be appreciated.

      S3A should take S3S and S3SW, I would perhaps recommend S3SW indeed. There is a more recent S3S one but I have not tried it.

      Of course, unlike S3SW, S3S requires you to install Gapps (and perhaps remove some Chinese bloat, I don't know).

    one thing that confuses me it that i have the MTK6752 and all I see is referances to MT6752 without the K what is the differance and why there is nothing related to MTK6752.

    Can you change rom 4 (gapps+ multilang)? I am using this. it is still same… the other roms updated to 04/11/2015 but rom 4 is still older than the other roms?  can you deal with it??
