ROM Mobiles STAR&Ulefone U9592 – ROM Android 4.2.2
Rom Official STAR U9592 and Ulefone version : 2706_v92_gq3009fw_20140123
MT6592 + 2G Ram + 16G Rom + 854×480 + Dual sim
Gapps include – No Rooted
Language support : Multilang
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

At the monet the only way is to turn off the phone and toplug in the charging cable.

I've installed the rom from here and verything's good except that the camera is always on the front camera anc no camera app can detext the back camera. anyone have a fix for this?
Hi, I updated the firmware to version (ulefone_u9592_20140318_e2706_v92_gq3009fw), and have solved the problems of battery charging, address book, etc …
Other sensors have been activated more that did not work (magnetic field, accelerometer, etc …) a total of 5 sensors now work, compared to 3 factory.

I still have the original 20140116 ROM and did not root it.
I just found out how to make a screenshot.
Press volume down and power button the same time until you here a click and see the phone making a screenshot!
You don't need any app or root!
Is the ROM mentioned here, 20140123, the same as the one under name s4 firmware on the Ulefone website?

Also there is a firmware mentioned there with a much more recent date; 20140318.
Does anybody know this ROM version and if it is any better?
My only problem with the Ulefone U9592(2GB version) is the battery problem. Within seconds after pluging in the adapter it says 'fully charged' and stops charging then ofcourse. (even if the charge level was at 8%).

That is nice … And GPS? How quick does it lock the position? By adress book, do you think the problem with syncing over the BT device (I have a problem with my BT integrated in the vechile)?
