Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6752_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Follow the instructions. You will need to download a zipped apk. Install the apk, it is in chinese. Just follow the screenshots. After you are finished, your phone will reboot and will have added playstore and the option to add a google account
Xposed installer detects jiayu s3 as aliyun os….

a custom rom is seriously need for jiayu s3…
I wud have prefer d use pure android rom for dis phone… This color os.. Is not helping matters…. Even movin apps to sdcard is not possible…. Only internal memory is available….all apps only recognised internal memory… Serious ”fix” is needed
As I said about the APPS only on internal… And no way to transfer to SD1
hi i was flashed and i lose the folder efs if someone with the jiayu s3 send me this folder y pay 10 dolars . my email is guillereal19@gmail.com

On one of the S3 I got , I can't fix any satellite. Sometimes it detect one or two but never fix. Checked with GPS TEST
What can I do?
somebody says AGPS doesn't work properly. try disable it. and as a second chance, try mtk gps fix app.
General rule for mtk chipset: first startup should be done in wide open environment and sim inside, to let it initialize with the best server for EPO assistance.

Ok in fact there was no sim inside. I installed my sim and after that it fix in…04 minutes. The secon fix was in 20 seconds.
Then I removed the sim and It works fine. fix in 20 seconds.Thanks for your help.
Just remaining the problem about the APPS installation only on internal…
Hi, I am new here. I have the 2 GB basic model. So I installed all my favourite apps, after that I saw that there is Firmware S3W 20150123 installed. I was looking for ota update but it says newest Version installed. Here they offer 20150205 so a newer one. Is it possible to upgrade without loosing already installed apps? Hope for help. Thxv
I suspect OTA does not work on S3W ROM versions.
So you have to flash. Do a full backup by using recovery rom before doing it and activate all of kind of backup before (android backup , google sync, etc.) about whatsapp, do a backup for that. All of those backups are to be moved outside the phone (SD card or lan storage).
Thank you, so i have to flash rom 2 to get ota updates, but there are no gapps so i have to install them manuel.
I'm not sure, but I can't explain why somebody got OTA updates and somebody other not…
So i downloaded jiayu.es from playstore and there i installed the twrp recovery which worked fine for me.
Now I see that there is also a firmware and a GPS patch or something, anyone see this on jiayu.es app in Downloads?
pls tell us your S3 version (basic / advanced) and firmware version.
About gps patch, it could be useful (take a look to yantoucan issue, above)
