Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select "scatter-Loading" and search MT6737M_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- Select "Download Only" or if upgrade "Firmware upgrade"
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery (if the battery is removable) and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).
- Press “Download” button to start
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Really, for me too, under the CPU option! But under the system option it says 6737M, and there is something about 6735
. The point is, these all ROMs here fine for any Max Pro, even any stupid application says others about CPU. 
even in engineer mode shows MT6735.
Do you know if x5 max pro have adware (popups ads) problem like x5 max? The virus beautysnap.

You can see descriptions about how to restore IMEI on MTK phones successfully. Long ago it succeeded for me too with SP FlashTools, just I don't remember how to do. Search about it by using Google Search
. And NEVER use "Format All" in SP FlashTools, because IMEIs will gone!!

I would like to ask the dear uploader: Were these updates came from? On the official website of Doogee (www.doogee.cc), the latest ROM is 2016.08.10, and even no any updates came out via OTA either!

It is not. Remove both!
Can it be pulled from the ROM so that the next firmware update will not have it. FineSearch was also malware on an earlier ROM, but it seems to have disappeared in the latest, so can beautysnap be removed for the next firmware?

I was able to install twrp and supersu but I do not see any way of uninstalling beautysnap. It is not showing up under app drawer.
Do I just go ahead and delete the folder /system/app/com.gangyun.beautysnap ?

Try to use Lucky Patcher, dont forget to check "show system apps" in lucky patcher settings.
I uninstalled com.android.snap using lucky patcher but now phone display com.android.snap errors all the time.
Have you restarted the phone after removing beautysnap?
Looks like a combination of luckypatcher deleting the files, and then a reboot, and then twrp mounting the system partition to let me delete the remaining files has worked.

And by the way, no any BeautySnap instaééed on my Max Pro in the 08.10. ROM. But I hadn't any app like this either in 06.23., and 08.29, and no any virus or problem. I don't know what you guys talking about. I can believe this virus comes with a third party app you install on phone…
