Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while

Thanks for your explanations, very helpful for me. I was able to flash gapps and also have root.

I have some problem, why the internal storage divided into 2 ? how can I merge it into 1 , that is 8GB
because this can waste the internal storage when we mount SD card

the rom works if you follow the instructions. however it is slow and has some problems and is a bit slow. if you want to try kitkat then go ahead and do it. has some new features.
i reflashed my ROW and will wait for the ROW kitkat to reflash.

I have actually flashed back to the 1415 stable rom,
I started getting problems with apps force closing, google apps suddenly closing without warning, exchange services not working for email, freezing on animations and files not showing from storage in file manager.
For the first week or so everything was fine but slowly the issues got worse over the last few days and more apps closing, i tried to uninstall any updates from the last few days but it did not change anything.
Has anyone else had similar issues ??
Waiting patiently for a stable release though, i did prefer the interface and feel on the kitkat rom !!
Most important information first, going to new 1417 version of the rom:
If you want to use gapps :
After first boot you must use a root explorer type program to delete some of the system apps
OR
Delete them from the system file in the ZIP before flashing !!
REASON:
There are too ,many pre-installed apps in the system and if you flash gapps during setup it will give you error, due to lack of system space.
If you do not do this, you may see a lot of apps crashing because they are missing necessary components from GAPPS !!
Anyone wishing to do this must first be rooted and second have some knowledge of apps to delete from system
Apps are in 2 places on KitKat roms, both in system, APPS and PRIV-APPS
MAKE SURE YOU ALSO DELETE THE ODEX FILE WITH THE APPS YOUR ARE DELETING !!

I have a phone from yesterday but cant connect a phone to PC like USB storage.
