ROM Install :
CWM
Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
guy, flashed it….now stuck on Lenovo logo for awhile now… any idea how to restore it ?
I tried installing this rom thru TWRP CN, but it gives me an error:
symlink: some symlinks failed
E:Error executing updater binary in zip….
The main problem is that now I cannot install ROW ROM, and I cannot use flashtools either because windows always display that the device didn't work properly so windows couldn't recognize it.
Any idea is welcome
Ohhh. I know now where's the problem. No way to install CN ROM with TWRP CN Recovery if ROW partitions in phone.
Any idea how to change recovery to twrp row?
Is there any way to ROOT this wonderful ROM ?
You can actually load TWRP using flash tool and root through TWRP !??
If you want to use this rom you must use CN recovery or you will get error in flash procedure !!!
Once you have chosen the scatter file in flash tool, tick DA DL ALL box at the top !
Click on the RECOVERY line, this will open up a window so that you can choose which recovery.
( IMPORTANT ) Tick only Preloader and Recovery, make sure everything else is empty !!
Choose the TWRP recovery you downloaded and then click download at the top
Once finished you will see the green circle, power on the phone
Wait a few minutes and then power off
Now power on holding volume up and down together, release power button only on vibrate, this will boot recovery
You should see TWRP reovery, go to wipes / advanced wipe wipe cache and dalvik
Now go back to main menu and choose reboot, you should see a prompt that SUPERUSER IS NOT INSTALLED, JUST SLIDE THE BAR TO INSTALL
Now once the phone is rebooted you will see superuser icon on screen, click it and it will tell you to update, easiest is via play store ( make sure you added account ) , it will tell you upgrade success and tell you to update binary, do this too and now you are rooted
sorry to ask..i cant tick the preloader..just able to tick recovery..why is it happen?
OK, so i tried to do a backup of the rom in TWRP recovery and it does not work !!
I am guessing that because the partitions a different in KitKat and the storage is not being read by recovery it is impossible at the moment !!
Need new TWRP or CWM that reads KitKat partitions, if anyone knows anything ????

There is no scatter file, this is for flash in recovery only NOT for Flash Tool !!!!
