Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

You are using the standard recovery instead of TWRP recovery, you must rename the zip file to update.zip if you are to use standard recovery !!!

If you still can't get it to work then do some reading and learn how to put TWRP recovery on the phone, it has been spoken about enough times !!

I still get some chinese charcters ecpecially on the Caller Id in contacts and in-coming calls. Pls is there any program to make all apps and character in english language alone. I have tried to download and use Andoid Language Project but I’m not having headway.
Any help pls?

I installed the ROM on lenovo s930 myself, but I've never had this problem
only english and chinese language available. how to add other language.

As a reply to wallykoko. The chinese characters after caller ID are some "location" thing you can disable from contacts->More features and settings->Location->Display number's location.

I encountered a problem with the contacts. If i got a text message from a contact that was saved on my phone without the country prefix the name was not shown. If i got a call from the same number there was no problem. There was also no problem with JB roms.
And the problem that is bugging me the most is that network and Wi-Fi location doesn't work with any of the apps that request it (FB, wheather apps, browser). Sometimes it got my location in Accuweather as being Hong Kong although I was in Romania, or doesn't get a location at all. It works without problem when I open Google Maps though.
I solved the network location for apps rather easily. I used system cleanup and removed the current network location app (sorry i don't remember the full name, but it's quite obvious if you look for it) and installed this one:

Request to developer to create script and making weather works for ROW @ the rest of the world.

I actually went back to the 1417 dev version due to the dock bar icons not working most of the time, i would unlock to make a call, click on the phone icon and it would not work, same with messages and contacts icons !!! I even tried to swap icons and use different apps in the dock bar and they do not work !! When i reboot they do work but only once and after that not again !
I actually feel the 1417 version is more stable, everything is working and the graphic performance seems smoother. I am also getting an average of around 18000 on Antutu scores but with the 1419 version it dropped to an average 17200 !! So apart from the issue with the dockbar, the performance is slightly lower too !!
There is actually a DEV version of the 1419 too but so far each time i tried to download it failed ( it is telling me 17 hours to download and fails after 1 mb of data received )
If anyone succeeded with the DEV version1419, can you please post a download mirror !!
