Please use latest version of WinRAR or 7Zip
Official ROM Lenovo X2-AP Version: X2-AP_ROW_S223_150528 (Lollipop 5.0)
Gapps include – No Rooted
Language support : EN/CN/AR/BG/CS/EL/ES/FR/HR/HU/RO/RU/SK/SL/SR/TH/TR/UK/VI/TW/IN
Installation:
1. Open flash_tool.exe from SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1512.00 folder
2. In Flashtool, select the MT6595_Android_scatter.txt from the target_bin folder. Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
3. Make sure “DA DL All with Checksum” is checked in Options -> Options -> Download OR YOUR PHONE WILL FAIL TO BOOT!
4. Turn off your phone.
5. Select "Firmware Upgrade" or "Download only", but do not use "Format All + Download", because you will lose your IMEI and MAC
6. Press Download
7. Connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- install driver from Drivers folder, if needed (you may have to disable Windows Driver Signature Enforcement)
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after, yellow, grey and green circles is displayed, the phone is successfully flashed
8. Disconnect the USB cable from the phone and turn it on. It will take few minutes for the phone to boot for first time

S224 OTA file added (S223 to S224)
S228 OTA file added (S224 to S228)
Because ota files, created as differantial update, you need to allready installed previouse version

I wanted to reinstall your ROM with SP Flash Tool v5.1512.00. was probably wrong driver installed, because when I connect the phone (SP_FT set the directions correctly) – Download run only at 5% and SP_FT benefit of any error (yellow runner). Since then I can not turn on the phone, still black screen, or did not choose and I do not want to join the SP_FT (and I downloaded the latest version of 1524). previously ejected at least sounds (figure), now nothing.
Please help.

I have restored this ROM on my X2-CU and was able to restore my NVRAM.
Now I am constantly having mobile coverage issues. The phone doesn't recognise my SIM card a lot of times, bad cell coverage and while it shows mobile data connection, I don't get any internet connection. (On another phone this all works fine with the same SIM) Anybody any idea what's wrong?
You must change the modem.img (it's the modem's driver) with the CU modem.img (from your CU ROM – copy/paste), after root the device with a root explorer, change the permissions and then restart the deivice.

Problem solved, actually that ROM wasn't good for my phone, so it was "must have thing" to Flash the 4.4.2v and after that update the firmware to 5.1

I tried to firmware update from twrp,but failed
I updated from x2-CU, very good ROM, but i have battery drain, I tryed swipe, factory reset and there is the same problem (Another vibe x2 i flashed working perfectly)
In my opinion some Vibes X2 are f..cked up!!!

there is no firmware 5.1 for our phone!!!, if there is please share
just flashed my x2-cu to this calling and messaging function is not working but networking is fine. what can be the problem? its my first time flashing a phone.

I've upgraded my VIBE x2 CU (4.4.2) to AP (5.0.2 S228), whitout any issue.
The phone auto update the two OTA files.
The only problem I had was with GPS, any program that was running (TomTom, Sygic…), suddenly closed to navigate.
After a week looking for information, I've already solved.
