Please use latest version of WinRAR or 7Zip
Official ROM Lenovo X2-AP Version: X2-AP_ROW_S223_150528 (Lollipop 5.0)
Gapps include – No Rooted
Language support : EN/CN/AR/BG/CS/EL/ES/FR/HR/HU/RO/RU/SK/SL/SR/TH/TR/UK/VI/TW/IN
Installation:
1. Open flash_tool.exe from SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1512.00 folder
2. In Flashtool, select the MT6595_Android_scatter.txt from the target_bin folder. Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
3. Make sure “DA DL All with Checksum” is checked in Options -> Options -> Download OR YOUR PHONE WILL FAIL TO BOOT!
4. Turn off your phone.
5. Select "Firmware Upgrade" or "Download only", but do not use "Format All + Download", because you will lose your IMEI and MAC
6. Press Download
7. Connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- install driver from Drivers folder, if needed (you may have to disable Windows Driver Signature Enforcement)
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after, yellow, grey and green circles is displayed, the phone is successfully flashed
8. Disconnect the USB cable from the phone and turn it on. It will take few minutes for the phone to boot for first time

Because ota files, created as differantial update, you need to allready installed previouse version

ok solved! i was restoring all Data+NVRAM+System. I checked only NVRAM and it is ok, though it has a bug with the 2 sim. When i use only sim 1 it does not recognise it. but works fine with both sims inserted. Thanks again!

I think you have chosen Portugese During setting. Language and Input settings is the second item in the third section of Settings.
It's marked with letter T.

But Don't for get to take Backup of your NVRAM, Before flashing.!
Yes kocsogdiszno88m, it works great. But as Harry.Paa said, Backup your NVRAM first, copy the backup to your computer and then install the ROM.
After installationm copy the backup to your phone again abd then restore NVRAM again.
You may find detailed steps on how to do it in one of my previous replies to this thread.

My phone had preinstalled the VIBEUI_V2.0_1514_5_26.1_ST_X2-CU_baralajbi rom (4.4.2). I've bought it in this way. It's rooted, but it has no twrp, only the Lenovo's one.
I'd like to flash twrp posted here in the forum (the CU version) in order to backup the NVRAM.
Flash tool doesn't recognize my switched off phon
Presume is a driver issue, but how can I install the proper drivers for it? In case that the phone is switched on, the win8.1 I have does recognize it.
Can someone face me in the right direction, please?

Well I managed to put my phone in bootloop.
So I've tried to flash TWRP posted by ah_es_2000 on 06/22/2015 @ 10:52 pm (post 38).
After flashing it, got an error: 'PMT changed for the ROM; must be downloaded' and my phone was in bootloop. Sad.
Decided to flash the original ROM X2-AP_ROW_S130 posted by eryen (big thanks for it).
Flashed, now everything seems ok.
Went to the software update and there is a message that X2-AP_ROW_S130_150412 can be upgraded to X2-AP_S223_150528_ROW.
What do you suggest, shoud I upgrade to it?
After upgrading can be that ROM rooted (how?), can I install then the TWRP (which one)?

Well I tell them I've been almost a week using ERYEN ROM, for Lenovo Vibe X2 AP, and the phone has worked very well, the perfect work 2 sim generally runs very well.
The only problem: The Wifi only 3 meters being connected modem, connecting in places where before me is no longer possible. I was finding out, and some people say I should replace the file: MODEM_1_LWG_N.IMG, but not how to do it, nor do it.
Please your help !!!!

In order for your phone to be recognised by SP-Flash Tool, make sure that you have enabled Developer Options on your phone and that USB Debugging is ON.

- For upgrading, Yes. Isuggest you upgrade to X2-AP_S223_150528_ROW. It's safe to do.
- For TWRP, use the one called TWRP_v2.8.6.0_X2-EU/AP_Lollipop_5.0.zip posted be eryen. The link is above at the top of this thread.
- For how to install TWRP recovery and root your phone,
1. Open SP Flash Tools and click Scatter Loading, now select the scatter file of your device.
If you have extracted eryen's ROM, the scatter file is the one called MT6595_Android_scatter.txt that is located in target_bin folder.
2. Make sure that all the boxes are unchecked, except the one labelled Recovery. Click on Recovery and a new window will appear.
3. Browse to the X2-EU/AP TWRP recovery image you've downloaded and click Open.
At this point, make sure that the Recovery bos is the only one checked and that it is showing the location of your TWRP recovery image.
4. Turn off your phone. When it is totally off, unplug it from the USB cable.
5. Click Download button on the SP Flash Tool, then click Yes. After that connect your switched-OFF phone to your computer using USB Cable.
6. The tool will detect your phone and flash the recovery, if your computer can't detect your phone, re-install the drivers that I have provided. Wait until the flashing is finished successfully.
- After flashing, boot in recovery by pressing Volume-Up + Volume-Down + Power, release the power button when device vibrates.
You the recovery will tell you that your phone is not rooted and will ask you whether you want to root it or not. Accept rooting and then reboot.

I think that I've screwed up
Now I'm on X2-AP_S223_150528_ROW OTA upgradet.
I can't use the SIM slots, doesn't work. I can't even backup the NVRAM cos I follow your instructions in vain. After plugging the switched off phone it is not recognized by th SP Flash tool.

The rom REALLY rocks!
Everything works perfectly after almost one week of use.
BUT there is a big problem with TWRP recovery.
Have anyone tried a full backup of the phone and then full restore?
I 've done it five times and I had a full disaster every time.
The phone only got into recovery mode every time I tried to turn it on.
I had to reflash the rom to make the phone work again.
I 've tried every TWRP v2.8.6.0 (EU – CU – AP) I found.
I also flased the rom using ''format all + download'' in order to have a clean flash. Same result.
I don't know whether is my phone's problem or TWRP's.
I don't know if TWRP's problem is on backing up or restoring.
Everything else is really fine with my phone but if I can't restore it if something go wrong sometime, makes me very anxious.
So, before you do any experiment make sure you can restore your phone.
And dear developers, A WORKING TWRP please!!!

Have you tried to make a full backup and restore with it?
It simply can't do it!!!
That's why I warned every user of this TWRP. You think that you have a backup. But when you'll need to restore, you'll find out that you got nothing!
Please advise how to downgrade back to 4.4.2. I am currently on X2-EU_S223_150528_ROW.

Thank you, now it works, I'm on baralajbi's rom. Now I can use both SIM's. But it's noz lollipop
