Preface:
   I present to you port MIUI 7 with phone Xiaomi RedRice (HM2013023) for phones ZOPO C2/ZP980, C3, C7/990. Installation is using Aroma Installer. Multilingual build by xiaomi.eu team
   Firmware need an extended system partition 1Gb.
   Recomended recovery – TWRP 2.8.0.0 for C2/980, C3 for C7/990

Attention!
In all firmware when switching between HD and FHD mode after installing and running the firmware is not to panic, that the entire screen crooked, just reboot again.

Description of the installation process:
New installation:
    1. Make sure again that you have Extended the System to 1.0 Gb.
    2. Recommended to install Recovery – TWRP 2.8.0.0 = for С2/980, C3 = = for C7/990 =
    3. Make a full backup.
    4. Copy the archive file of the firmware on the internal or external SD card.
    5. In TWRP Recovery do all wipes except flash drives.
    6. Necessarily restart Recovery.
    7. Install the firmware. The installation process in detail accompanied by a dialog menu and additional information.
    8. After the system boots, do not rush to use the phone, give him a lie down for 5 minutes and then restart it.

Update a previous version:
    1. Copy the archive file of the firmware on the internal or external SD card.
    2. Make a full backup.

    5. Wipe a Cache / Dalvik cache

    I was trying to install this on my 4GB Zopo C2, but have messed up.  I used TWRP 2.4.4.0, rather than TWRP 2.8.0.0 as suggested and things have gone wrong.

    I wiped all the data apart from the SD card, then I tried to install C2-4Gb System-1Gb, but every time I try it fails with the following log:

    I tried installing the MIUI 7 ROM anyway, but it says:

    Failed to extract dir from "system" to "/system"

    That's to be expected since I haven't successfully resized the system partition.

    At the moment there's nothing on the phone and it just shows the Zopo screen when I turn it on.  The only thing I can do is boot to TWRP 2.4.4.0. I put TWRP 2.8.0.0 on the SD Card, but it still boots to 2.4.4.0.

    What should I do?

      I installed the Lollipop X ROM then updated to TWRP 2.8.0.0 so I've got the right version now.  However, even with TWRP 2.8.0.0 it still fails when I try to install C2_ROM-4GB_system-1.0Gb.zip.  The error it gives in 2.8.0.0 is slightly different:

      Installing '/sdcard/C2_ROM-4GB_system-1.0Gb.zip'
      checking for MD5 file…
      Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found…
      E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/C2_ROM-4GB_system-1.0Gb.zip'

      I followed these instructions precisely:

      1. Copy rom into your external sdcard.
      2. Copy zip file with the partition type into your external sdcard (for 32Gb version recomended System1Gb-Data5.0Gb, for 4Gb version – ONLY C2_ROM-4GB_System_1.0gb).
      3. Wipe -> advanced: dalvik cache, cache, data, android secure, system.
      4. Reboot -> Recovery.
      5. Install zip file with the partition type.

      I have the 4GB C2 so I'm using the right file.

      Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

      I downloaded the C2_ROM-4GB_System_1.0gb.7z file from that thread and installed the System-1.0Gb.zip contained within it.

      Unlike the C2_ROM-4GB_System-1.0Gb.zip from this thread, that actually installed without errors.  However, when I went to clear my data it said it couldn't mount most of the partitions.  I restarted the phone but now I can't get into the recovery screen, so it looks like the recovery partition might have gone as well.

      The phone now just displays a Zopo screen and I'm not sure what I can do with it.  Is it completely bricked?

      I finally managed to get MIUI on my Zopo C2 4GB.  It seems there's a problem with the C2_ROM-4GB_System-1.0Gb.zip on this thread, and you have to use the file from china-iphone.ru.

      For anyone having problems on the Zopo C2 4GB, here's what I did to get MIUI installed:

      1) Go to http://forum.china-iphone.ru/p.....9.html#p1274849 and download the C2_ROM-4GB_System_1.0gb.7z file.
      2) Extract the System-1.0Gb.zip from the downloaded file and copy it to your phone or sdcard.
      3) In recovery mode and install the System-1.0Gb.zip file.
      4) Connect the phone to your PC and from the recovery menu mount the phone storage.
      5) Format the phone storage in FAT32 leaving the cluster size as standard.
      6) Wipe all data and then install the MIUI ROM.

      SevenMaxs in the china-iphone.ru thread says to use CWM 6.0.4.4, but it worked fine for me with TWRP 2.8.0.0 so you can just use that.

      Anyway, thanks a lot for the MIUI ROM.  I've only just got it installed, so I haven't played with it much, but it looks good.  I'll try it more tomorrow.

      ok, Tanks for response the answer; i tried to flash the kernel zp980bhd(1280×720), but the zopo remains on bootloop, in other roms, this process suceed, it must be because the miui is different.

      I get only kernel from paolo firmware, and ramdisk i get from the miui, and build the boot.img

    Everything works just great.That's just one caveat little unpleasant. you can not change places sd card from the internal memory. Maybe who knows how to fix zopo c2 4gb
