I tried
No change at all for me !
still crazy GPS. I was arrived at home … and GPS indicated i was 300 m in another street …and i no stay under the window of a car ..but on my bicycle !!!
Try the following:
1. Place the phone so that you can always find back to the exact same place, outdoor or at the window.
2. Look at the SNR values you get with the app GPS Test, note the number of satellites in view and in use.
3. Remove the back cover
4. Place the phone exactly to tha same place
5. Compare the SNR values and the number of satellites.
Do you get any changes? If yes, then I might have a solution for this. My Waze did freak out completely anytime anywhere, showing me up to 400 meters away from the actual point I was on.
I applied some aluminium foils after some hours experimentings and – bingo!
Now I did drive about 100 km in 2 occasions and it only droped once for 5-10 seconds, doing well the rest of the time.
If your phone behaves as mine did with the backcover, then my solution might help you as well.
Compass is blame to crazy gps. Somehow compass cant be calibrated propely. I tried to calibrate but there is something wrong with newesr zopo sw. I tried phone also without backcover but did not see any big differents.
Had issues connecting to Wifi and the mic stopped working with V1.08.1, went back to V1.07 which works fine.
in the next 24 hours i will upload a rom from a chinese webpage it says that all is ok and it have this features
wait wait wait
Do you know if it is mulitlanguage ? Or chinese only
And GPS better ?
it is multilanguage and it have some gps tweaks that improve gps the main problem here is that it is not rooted and it doesnt have google apps im trying to figure out how to make them compatible because i tried a lot of things and it doesnt support them
Upload the ROM there will be a good man who will find the solution. Possible to have the website adress to try it ?
thanks
but all in chinese
i don't know which is the good one

Need to learn chinese before

it have some problems with wifi so im trying to fix them, and google play doesnt work until now
Lazlok, it sounds interesting what you did with aluminium foils. Can you discribe how, or even post a photo? I have tried to tinker a lite bit with the contacts in the back cover, it seemed to me that the back cover simply did not fit properly, it could be pressed inwards so i thought that might be the problem, but it did not make any difference. At least when i tried it. I have not gotten round to tinker any further yet and would love to try your solution when i have a little spare time.

The point is to shield off the leads of the NFC antenna from the crossing GPS antenna.
I also fiddled with the antenna itself, could get an SNR over 40 on 3-4 satellites. But the problem is the phisical implementation: it does not fit into the phone. Still experimenting with it.
