    Yeah thanks, I updated it but no car avail atm, will report back on monday.

    But I think the biggest improvement was to flash the official 0303 rom first. So something in uboot or wherever the firmware lies must have changed. Because only after that both ygps and other gps test apps could obtain the signal equally fast (or at all).

    First of all, i thank you Fluffy for your time and help! :)

    I tryed your GPS files, and here is the result:
    The YGPS got around the same amount of sats with same level of SNR. The indicated accuracy never go below 5 meters, more like 5.2-5.7 meters.

    But perhaps the Sygic HW test picture showed better the problem: the accuracy (sorry, it's hungarian, so it's in the "Pontosság" row) is 7-9 meters while i'm standing outside.

    Tomorrow i try in the car, how it's works, but at now, it's seems to be the same level as before.

    Sidenote: in the hungarian ZP998 topic two ZP998 owner says they do not having any problem with the GPS at all, even if they use "vanilla" ZP998 ROM's, without any MTK Engineering trick or EPO download. Maybe our phones have bad GPS module, or less-than-good craftmanship – i don't know… :(

      Ups, the pictures lost in time… The first two is YGPS, the last is the Sygic HW test pic:

    Using Google is not that hard:

    http://www.zopomobileshop.com/.....bile-latest-rom

    Newest is from 9520: http://pan.baidu.com/share/lin.....38;uk=287082391

    Not sure how to find it on the official site.

    @Cifu  as far as I understand it AGPS or EPO just contain some additional information about current satelite positions (almanach) and provide accurate timing informations (ntp) so you can get a fix without first having to download that information from the sat signals. You need 4 dimensions in order to solve the equasion and AGPS provides one or two, or whatever.

    After a fix it does nothing IMHO, but correct me if I'm wrong. So as long as you don't have a problem getting a fix it shouldn't change a thing.

    After that it's just a matter of constantly receiving the P-code of at least 4 sattelites in order to be able to calculate the positions. So if the hardware/firmware of the receiver has to bad reception or is to stupid to correctly sort out reflected or interrupted signals, it might calculate wrong positions.

      Yupp, i know.

      My dignity in here is simple: i want to manage work my phone GPS system. I do not know what is the problem exatly. I read in the XDA forum someone get better signal, after lifted the antennas link, so i try it. Actually it's not helped (still made faster GPS signal getting in YGPS, so maybe it's closer the roots of the problem than software modifications). But i have no information which antenna is the GPS antenna at the first place. I tryed to remove the back of the phone, where the NFC antenna is placed (in the iNeW V3 the NFC antenna used as GPS antenna too), but seems to be no luck.

      Because at least several owner do not have problem with ZP998 GPS, i think there is no desing flaw in the ZP998, but rather a bad craftmanship or faulty sensor…

      I spent 2 hours to fix my BT with my car (Subaru Forester 2014).

      1. Make sure you delete IN THE CARs system your previousely paired phone, because with Fluffys 1.07 the phones name was 9520

      2. If you never get the window to enter your security key try:

         a. BT on search in the phone BEFORE you put in the ignition key in the car

         b. If that does not help, download "Bluetotth file transfer" from Google Play, initiate a connection to the cars BT, then you will be able to enter the code. After that you will get your pairing, the BT file transfer can be uninstalled.

      let us know if it helped.

    @Cifu

    The guy from XDA who made the screenshot either can't read or doesn't trust the manufacturer labels.

    If you take a look at the cover (the one under back cover) then on the right side at the top you can read wifi gps spb

    So that should be the GPS, antenna, right :)

    So you unscrew everything and carefully remove the second cover and then see the connector strip on the back of that cover which is pressed against the connectors of the mainboard. I fiddled around with that, even put a spacer underneath but that didn't change nothing.

    On the botton is another antenna, no idea what's that for…

      The sorrow fact is: i'm the one, who can't read (look what that guy nick, something like Cifu, sound familiar to you? :D ).

      If you won't point out, i probably never found out…

      Even if it's won't help you, i take my shot. In my first attempt, it's seems a bit better, still not near as good as Fluffy's data, and it's only stationary data's from YGPS and Sygic, it's something… I hope tomorrow i get some luck, and perhaps the useless GPS is gone away… Yea, i know, it's not gonna happen… :\

    @soy_max

    I had also BT problems..

    If you have parrot don't use regular pairing..but go @parrot to advanced pairing and use try 1 by 1.

    Now BT connection works..
